Just wondering would that mean shes dead in Inquisition or does she have some miraculous story how she survived you shoving your sword through her face? ![]()

Yes is always alive regardless of your decision
One of the reasons why some people disliked DA2 so much.... because even though they chopped off her head, Leliana would still appear at the end of that game.
Rather dissapointed at the decision myself.. but just a minor niggle

First of all, why would anybody kill Leliana? Her accent is simple adorable, and she is so nice when she isn't murdering darkspawn. Secondly, even if you did kill her, she is alive in inquisition. If you did kill her in DAO, the canon story is that the warden only seriously wounded her.

I didn't kill Leliana... But mostly because she knew what was good for her, and didn't push the issue when I corrupted the ashes. Best part: It didn't affect our romance in any way.

Ah ok fair enough, but if you did seriously wound her, and she runs into the warden at some stage during Inquisition that is going to be one hell of a reunion...

Nah, She survives into DA2 no matter what. There are various rationalizations of her survival, like her being healed by the sacred ashes or maybe the warden's attack wasn't fatal.

To get Reaver spec, if she is not hardened.

I think them not following every single solitary decision and letting it effect the setting in a way that doesnt allow the world of thedas to be shaped how the writers want is perfectly understandable and acceptable. I would be annoyed if they tried to follow every decision they made possible, in each game, since you can really do some randomly dumb stuff. I think the fact you can do it in the game is reward enough. The setting comes 1st, imo.

Killed her in Keep. Still counts.
We'll see what she says about that little speed bump. Did I ever tell you about the time I died?

You keep using that word. I don't think it mean's what you think it mean's.
Also, no. I consider her redemption arc too precious.

she survived.
some think it was because of the lyrium nearby.
I did not kill her. I missed her in my first playthrough and replayed the game just to recruit her.

I have playthroughs with every possible decision, this included (I've named that world state "Complete Monster" in the Keep).
I trust the writers. I don't think they'll gloss over that one. in another thread on this subject (there have been at least a dozen I've seen on these boards) I listed off at least three possibilities off the top of my head that would work with the lore - that Leliana was a Cole-type spirit mimicking Leliana, that the entire urn of Sacred Ashes sequence was a hallucination caused by the lyrium in the mountains that Oghren mentions, and that she's actually a replicant servant of the elder One if you killed her like ME3's Rachni breeder.
Those are just three possibilities. The writers wioll no doubt come up with something better.

Ya, in one of my play-though's I did to, but I regretted it, because of how many of his codex I love reading. Now I always keep him alive because of this, and hope they dont "respect" that choice and the maker, or lyrium + a spirit heals him back to life.

Well, the keep asks if you killed her or not, but you know, she died on top of the sacred ashes, there must be some magic andrastian mumbo jumbo that explains her not dead state. You know, maybe not if you decapitated her, probably the events of combat finishers arent canon. Cant see how a pile of dust would connect a head and a body. Or, she's a zombie and the putrid smell of the war room wil escalete towards the end of DA:I.

Kill Leliana?! Why?!
Of all the horrible, evil, villainous acts! Anyone who killed her is an awful, awful person!
My Leliana! I shall never do something so terrible to you! The only party member I ever killed was Anders.
How dare he defile Justice?!
