If by "her accent is simply adorable" you mean her obviously English speaking voice actor slid in and out of a ridiculous fake French accent, I'd have to agree.
The VA was french. Corinne Kempa, she has lived and worked in London, but is french.

oooh ok. and that's hilarious... so what the headless man just carries on conversation with you? lol
I expected that, but no, he has a head. So finishing moves are not canon, but *shrug* people gonna whine regardless.
How can you survive decapitation? Is Leliana the makers really messenger or a reincarnation of an ash tray stay tuned to find out in BioWare makes plot holes lol

There is no 'canon' of that. Like, we know Howe never survives Origins. Loghain might, but you see him die in the Landsmeet if you chop off his head.
In combat with Howe more than once I chopped off his head but he still sits up and spits on me with a head, gasping out his last words. I could be screaming "How can he get up and talk to me with no head?" But, you know what, I have sense enough to know that lore trumps gameplay.
Hey, I get it, lots of people didn't like her. Some actually probably enjoyed killing her. I don't get that mentality but w/e. Bioware writers/devs determined she lived. I got no issue with that especially since my having issue wouldn't matter anyway. So i roll with it.
She lived.
Once or twice.

Ya, I dont know how many times I took Zev's head off, yet nobody is constantly complaining about that.
But they're finger Ling-Ling good!It would be like.. Killng a Panda. You just don't do something like that !
Now a Headless Howe able to talk and spit at you, that just makes me think of monty pythons black knight lol.
Don't get me wrong I like Leliana but there are people who don't and my post was poking fun at BioWare ability to raise the dead in a god like fashion just to suit their plots lol
With my first character I cut off her head with Alistair at the Urn. I was like: YEEEES! And then she returns in DA2.... I was: What? Why?! Really?!
Now, I don't hate her, just never want to her romance. Never-ever....
But they're finger Ling-Ling good!
Besides any species that has effectively given up on breeding is really just waiting for their own personal sword of mercy.
I say we kill all the pandas and use the meat to feed species that are more worthy.

Ehhh it's just a flesh wound....Yea that was my image too. He has a head on his shoulders in the cutscene, but I chopped it off pretty as you please with the Cousland Sword in combat.
If we had a scene where Leliana stares up at the warden with a "How could you...?" face then dies or something I'd say "Okay, something smells funny here, Bioware." But we don't.
They may as well accept it. She's not dead, Jim.
It arrives only one in DAO where I agreed to harm the sacred ashes but it was only in order to take the specialization that you can only unlock at this point. After it, I downloaded the game just before the first encounter with the guy and simply killed him and his party because I can't stand people like that one especially thosewho desecrate holly stuff.
She died in some playthroughs. And while I never looked, if I managed to behead her, I still think it's cheap. Imagine Loghain turning up in a world, where you/Alistair executed him, just because the maker (or Flemeth) had other plans and "revived" him. But that aside - I more or less made my peace with her turning up - but I still consider it self-defense to kill her (and wynne) if she attacks you.
And for defiling the ashes, why is it okay to disturb her resting place to pick up the ashes to paste them over Arl Eamon (who totally didn't deserve it), but dropping dragon blood in them, is the big evil? As far as I feel, both methods defile the remains of a dead woman.
And for aiding Kogrim - yes his followers attacked you, after you broke into their holy temple, I imagine most "underground" religion would do so, especially if you consider the official church's stance on exalted marches - he offered you peace (maybe a bit late, but he did offer it). And if I played a character, who respected other people's faith, I had to respect that too. I mean, I don't believe that killing most of the adult followers of a religion's sidebranch (and in some cases their divine figure aka the dragon) should be considered an act of good, quite the opposite actually.

The voice actress is French. http://www.imdb.com/...?ref_=nm_ov_res
Spoken Languages: French
No way !
Ofc not, she was my LI. Even thinking about it it's blasphemy.
Well, we could accept that it's segregation of gameplay and story - I like the image of a headless Howe saying "Maker spit on you." But I'm kind of hoping now Leliana throws in a reference to decapitation, whether or not it happened.
Of course, the Andrastean rogues are clearly meant to be saintly figures - Sebastian is clearly based on Saint Sebastian, and Leliana has clear references to Joan of Arc. And of course decapitated saints who walk around around are a dime a dozen. There's even a word - "cephalaphore" - meaning "A saint who walks around carrying their head."
My person favourite is Saint Dionysus, a.k.a. Saint Denis. He was supposed to have picked up his own head, kissed it (!), and then walked miles to give a sermon. No explanation on the mechanics of how one kisses their own head have ever been given, but a canonized saint is as canon as it gets ![]()
This is the tradition that Leliana and Sebastian are a part of. Leliana getting up after a particularly graphic death animation seems pretty normal after that ![]()
I think them not following every single solitary decision and letting it effect the setting in a way that doesnt allow the world of thedas to be shaped how the writers want is perfectly understandable and acceptable. I would be annoyed if they tried to follow every decision they made possible, in each game, since you can really do some randomly dumb stuff. I think the fact you can do it in the game is reward enough. The setting comes 1st, imo.
Wouldn't it be better not have a completely meaningless choice than the illusion of one?
Did it several times also did it in what I consider my canon, but since that choice has become completely irrelevant I think I will retcon it to not recruting her
Never did (romanced Leliana everytime). I have no intention to defile the Ashes . Seriously , why would I listen to Loonie Kolgrim ![]()
Oh boy, I can't wait for the dozens of posters to show up and talk about how they all coincidentally got the decapitate head chop off animation when dealing with Leliana,
coincidentally? i reloaded the save 3 times to get that animation damn it! ![]()
Decision was retconned by BW. She survives no matter what.
You can still enter the choice in the Keep, personally I am going with a world state where she has been killed just to see what happens and what she has to say about the Warden who killed (or at least tried to) her.
I did try to kill her. Three separate times, at least. Let's count how many times it worked.
