What do you plan on naming your Inquisitor?

Since Trevelyan is a cornish name I wanted to keep with that. Sirona is the celtic goddess of healing. I thought this appropriate for a mage (even if we technically cant heal *hmph*). I've had a thing for naming characters after gods/goddesses/spiritual deities. Its something that harkens back to my WoW days.
My second inquis will be Lamia Lavellan.
A greek deity that I cant remember her full story. But she had been a lover of Zeus'. So a jealous Hera had killed her children and then turned her into a monster that would devour others children

Initially I'll just use default I assume (not sure what those are though). If I start getting into it I can spend way too much time on the character name, and that's generally after spending the last hour figuring out how they look, by then I'm burned out. Oddly enough I spend a lot of time on it in TES games, but DA games don't seem to matter to me that much.

Human Male: Alberech Trevelyan

Human Male: Tomas Trevelyan
Class/Spec: Dual Wield Rogue/ Assassin

Personality: Mischievous, naive, compassionate, slightly pious though he certainly has doubts
Human Female: Alisande Trevelyan
Class/Spec: Sword-and-Shield Warrior/ Champion
Age: 22

Human Female: Elena Trevelyan
Class/Spec: Spirit Mage/ Rift Mage

Elf Female: Serava Lavellan
Class/Spec: Entropy Mage/ Necromancer

Elf Male: Varen Lavellan
Class/Spec: Archer Rogue/ Tempest
Age: 31
Romance: Josey
Personality: An elf of few words though friendly in his own way, used to being a follower rather than a leader, often sees details others miss
Dwarf Female: Freya Cadash
Class/Spec: Dual Wield Rogue/ Artificer
Age: 26
Romance: Sera
Personality: Ambitious, clever, witty, charismatic, something of a con artist, likes practical jokes
Qunari Female: Asaara Adaar
Class/Spec: Elemental Mage/ Knight Enchanter
Age: 39
Romance: Iron Bull
Personality: A natural born leader, realistic, gritty, somewhat jaded
I was going to include bios, but my obsession with details left them incredibly long and ultimately irrelevant for the thread. Nonetheless, I'm going with all of the eight here were present at the same conference (ie same universe; post breach the same multiverse. Tomas and Elena are siblings, Alisande is their cousin. Alberech is an uncle to all three. Serava was sent to the peace talk by the Keeper, with Varen going along to protect her. Freya's spying for the Carta, Asaara is part of the hired muscle keeping order.

Vanitas, Ouroboros or Nemesis (Trevelyan)
Those are nicknames. Real name Godfrey or Siegfried. Will use the nickname as my name though, not my birth name. As an example, Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus being called Magnus. This explained as getting himself a new identity when he discovered he had magical prowess.
So Ouroboros (without the surname) will most likely be the naming of my character in general. Hoping our surname wont be used much vocally.
EDIT: Trivia - Ouroboros was my forum name until someone stole it when I made a new account once. So that is why my forum nick is not Ouroboros but "SomeoneStoleMyName" because some darkspawn stole my nick! ![]()

Planning on namin' my qunari lady "Vasra." It's a combination of the Qunlat words for "grey one" and "alone." I think "Vasra Adaar" has a good ring to it.

Two people decided on Eira, is that the default name?

This may be lame but the first time that I play through most RPGs I like to be the main character, so I always name them after myself. So my first play through will be a human male named Matthew

I do the same thing. I have like 4ish alter egos I have developed since I was ten and I play through as one of them each time. Mikaela is the human, that's me. Then usually I start a playthrough as Tryst (a particularly nasty) sorceress elf. Kandra is an elf fighter and Killest is usually a human mage. I have a couple more if the game warrants additional playthroughs. This may be lame but the first time that I play through most RPGs I like to be the main character, so I always name them after myself. Then usually I start a playthrough as Tryst (a particularly nasty) sorcerous elf. Kandra is an elf fighter and Killest is usually a human mage. I have a couple more if the game warrants additional playthroughs.
I try so hard to be "evil" in my second play through, ie. leaving villages to burn or children to die, and I always find that I simply cannot do it. So my play through usually end in the "happier" side with everyone alive, but it kills me slowly on the inside when I have my companions die. Unless it was Loghain because I cannot lie I never let that Dbag into my party.

I have an advantage you probably do not have. My Tryst sorceress kills and destroys everything she can, but only comes out a couple of days a month.

For male humans , i tend to use my own name which imo would probably fit in a fantasy universe , for Females and other races i tend to make my own or get inspiration from books/games or just to use a good name from a book/game or even modify it to be more unique.
