We forged a weapon that was so amazing that it was passed on for generations. Even Hawke got his/her hands on it, for a time. So where is it now and why aren't we seeing an option for if we've even created it or not?

Vigilance? Suggest it if you want it.
It's only in DA:2 if you use the console to bring it in anyway

What for? I doubt any warden would lend his trusty starfang to the inquisitor (even if they were the same class).

I did. But I figured they'd probably be over saturated what with everyone who is now in the Beta, and thought that they probably see the forums too and could see others who said yes to wanting this too. ![]()

It might be a total shot in the dark to expect a weapon schematic or design to mimic former impressive weapons. I for one am up to find something that will let me make a Vigilance weapon for my warrior and I will do everything in my abilities to do that even if I have to search every single nook and crack in the earth or map to do it.
Vigilance was stolen by Antivan Crows for a hot shot's collection but the weapon was too powerful to have one owner and changed hands many times. Hawke can ONLY get that weapon if you use the console command and its restricted as a two handed weapon with no one handed version.
Its aspect is awesome and in Origins it was the most powerful thing you could get your hands on. In Dragon Age 2 it was pretty fair and bypasses armor, so its only a pale shadow of the original.

Honestly, I don't ever remember using any console command to get the weapon for my two handed warrior in DA2. I just remember starting the game a second time or so, and having it in the box at my first house, when I picked up all the DLC content.
Even so, that shouldn't stop the Inquisitor from having it, seeing as they're supposed to have so many connections by the end of the game.
