and the use that was made of the AoE glyph spells, I was thinking of going back to when Morigan was Lev 7 and going for the glyph spells instead of the shapeshifter ones. I am at present at Lev 10 and have just finished Redcliffe Castle, is this a good idea?

If you're on the PC, just download the respecialization mod and use that instead, save yourself some time. I think most people would agree that the shapeshifting talents are lackluster at best, but you can still complete the game with a few duds in your spellbook. Honestly, by the time I hit level 20 I couldn't even fit all the spells on my bar.
