Yuh the CGI actually looks worse than the in-game models, wonder how that happened. Not that I care.

How old is Claudia Black now? 42. Could be playing the character slightly older as well.

Check the one where she stands in front of the stairs.

Lighting is not just lighting. Mass Effect and DAI use two different engines which are technologically significantly unequal.

Your not getting it. The different from engine to engine is the quality and amount of Light it can use compered to real life. The major difference is how close to reality it can be. The foot note was hit by last gen. This gen is just them adding more filters and environmental details. Regardless, the detail it mean is based on how light can effect the look of the face. No matter how weak or powerful an engine is it can greatly effect the look of the fact.

Real life example:

_Seinfeld_.jpg

article-0-0EBB191600000578-201_634x378.j

It matter not what engine is use, face base of the lighting will change.

Your comparing a neutral lighting pic of Vivi to a low light pic and saying the low one has less details. The happens to every picture take in low lighting no matter the engine or in real life.

If a case like this their would be no difference no matter the engine. If a character is put in different lighting in frost bight engine they will look different similar to how a character in ME engine will look different in based on the lighting. Engine make no difference in this.

Listen to it again, that's flemeth voice

No way that is Morrigan. AKA Claudia Black.

You can hear the EXACT same voice here in this trailer:

This is Flemeth, AKA Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway). Both have husky whiskey voices though, but I know these womens voices very well since I love both their SCI FI shows, Voyager and Farscape.

It is you who still can't get it. There is an obvious difference in quality of textures between what was advertised all the time in comparison to the image in the teaser. You don't need glasses to see it.

Vivienne from the teaser is far less detailed than what we've seen so far. Her nose and eyes look different, her skin colour seems washed off the dark tone she got everywhere else and her face looks more plump.

Were we to talk about laghting in the picture, it is there, much like in previous images, but at much lower quality. There are light reflections on her garment and barely noticable on her face. It's like the graphics were completely downgraded.

Dude, a person in low light no matter what, Real life or game engine, is going to show less detail. Why? BECAUSE THERE IS LESS LIGHT TO SEE THE DETAIL WITH. This is a fact of science. Something you can see in real life. It does not matter how detail or powerful an engine is.

It not that her eyes are different.(They are the exact same.) Her nose is the same, the bridge of the nose is not even different. Her shin is no wash out it just has less light reflecting off it because it's a low lighted room. Their not down grade. It's just less light. If you don't have the light to see it with no matter how detailed somethng is you can't fully see it. That's a fact of logic.

This is really nitpicky, and probably completely irrelevant, but Kate Mulgrew totally affects some sort of accent for Flemeth. Listen to her in interviews- she sounds pretty different. Not different enough to confuse her for Morrigan, but still.

No. She affects a different cadence. She pitches her voice differently. But those aren't accents. The accent she uses is still American.

Quite frankly a terrible teaser. Of all the content they could have used, they opt for one explosion and 3 face shots of characters most will not know about.

Wow... You're not just blind. You're willfully blind.

Look at the QUALITY of light effect in there. Look at the colours. Look at that flat pixaleted eyes.

Quality of light is base on ranging amount. Not effect. And her eyes are far from pixaleted. As I said before it looks fltter because of limited light source in the scene. Look at the pic, where are the light sources? How would it get the effect you want with the light source arranged like that?

Limited light reflects. Having light in the room will always give a reflection on object no mater the range. That does not mean low light will bump up the neutral. The room light is too soft to get the detail of the face that you want. It's a low lighted room , not a non-lighted room

You're so deep in denial that it is impossible to talk with you. You might as well tell me that the sky is green and that grass is blue. You are blind to obvious differences in quality of light particles, textures, difference in the looks of certain elements.

I regret even talking to you. You're obviously not going to see anything not matching your idealized image of BiioWare. You have 5,626 posts wihtin barely a yeat and a half on those forums. You practicly live on those forums and critizing BioWare for anyting, for you, is very likely to be like critizing you.

Dude, you need to get lesson on lighting. This has nothing about supporting anyone. This is just how lighting is. How do you not get it that less detail is show in a low lighter room. Hell look at how dark the room she's in for a hint to why it should not show as much detail as you think it should.

I don't care about your criticism. I'm just pointing out your mistake about light effects.

That's Flemeth I think, it sounds almost exactly like her in the DAII launch trailer.
