This just came in from Bioware:

"As fans of Mass Effect already know, N7 Day is almost here. Therefore, I [Casey Hudson] can confirm a few things right here and now. First off, fans of the [ME3] multiplayer can expect a couple of changes. The Geth are the future, so all Geth weapons will recieve major buffs; most importantly, the Geth Spitfire. It will be on par with the Harrier, whilst retaining its clip size. The Reapers will return in full force. Brutes will have the ability to use Shockwave and Lash. Banshees have the ability to use Dark Channel. Collector Troopers will have Particle Rifles from now on.

Mass effect 4 is going to be epic. Expect a trailer on N7 Day. No teasers, just a straight-up 5 minute trailer.

Since we're almost done with developing ME4, we're going to start to support the ME3 multiplayer again. Surprise assholes! Ban waves will resume, as well. The first ban wave will hit the cheaters on November 8."

Oh I'm not bothered. What I meant was: Your attempt at faking news would have worked better if you had hit the right tone for an official post. Also, too many details. You present the essential facts in one, maybe two sentences and then move on. You can list all details in a seperate post, so they won't distract from the message itself.

Not to mention that Casey Hudson left Bioware almost 3 months ago.

Wait... is that right? Oh my God. And I don't even believe in a god. 

Brutes can use lash? Oh, ok. Brutes have biotic abilities now? Pairing that with ''surprise holes in an ass'' indicates a clear state of mental alteration caused by the ingestion of a toxic substance that causes mental highs.

in spite of all the humor, or perhaps because of it, everyone equipping N7 characters with N7 weapons on N7 day and flying the N7 banner actually seems like a cracking good idea.
