Anyone know if downloading through EA access means you don't have to install the game again when the physical copy arrives?

i mean its not like sony didn't have an option to do ea access, they just refused it.In what world should it be shame on microsoft for seeing a good idea and deciding to run with it.Its not our fault we have access to an app that others dont.it was just a perk of buying an x box. I personally wouldn't have cared if the situation had been reversed and pc gamers or ps gamers had the option but we didn't. I guess Xbox just seems to have the more mature fan base i suppose.

 

I'm sure there are many XB players who would have a fuss if it was reversed too (I've seen it with various other games). There are fussers on all sides. I am buying the game for PS4, but playing the EA Access myself (I have both!) and I have no doubt it's not a "more mature" fanbase. I believe you if you said you wouldn't care (I wouldn't care if I didn't have the option to play it, like if you had to pre-purchase for the XB1 version to play EA Access demo) but I think both consoles and PCs all have their fanboys/girls and whiners. 

 

As to Sony, eh... I believe they maybe gave Xbox a chance to distinguish themselves by passing on EA Access, but I get why they did (they'd pay for something that would mostly benefit EA and compete with their own PS Now potentially). I'm glad the Xbox got something to distinguish itself, as I feel it's been weak against Sony this year so far, and I prefer both console makers strong, as competition breeds better exclusives - meaning money going towards more varied and interesting exclusives that wouldn't be made otherwise or would be made with far less resources otherwise - and so forth. I feel competition benefits the game offerings as a whole, which benefits people like me who own all systems. (Though a few years into the generation, anyone serious about games would likely own all systems, right? I get not being able to afford both at launch - last gen when I was in/just out of college that happened to me - but then you get a new system with a backlog of exclusives to play a few years in. This excludes kids, of course, but the average gamer these days is in their 30s.)

If I download the game via ea early access and then buy the game via xbox live to continue playing but then cancel the month subscription- will I have access to that particular save that I will have after my early six hours is up?

Berrieh, I'm pretty sure Bueford was joking with the mature fan base comment (an inversion of pc gamers calling console gamers children, etc, which always annoys me as a pretty exclusively pc gamer.)

Thanks to those who have added me- and sorry I haven't gotten around to adding anyone else yet. Basically my husband got Adv. Warfare so he hasn't let me touch the xbox ("I have to play it before you take over the xbox for a month"-Annoyed Husband).
