My game is still at 20% downloading but oddly enough I'm able to start the trial already. Pumped!

I'm seeing a 41.6Gb download size when viewing the trial on EA Access - that can't be right? Especially as it seems some have got hold of this really fast - can anyone confirm if this is actually the full game (in terms of files) downloaded or its actually less than that?

I believe you have to download the whole game, even just for the trial. However, some people pre-loaded weeks back and are able to boot it up straight away. Also, it seems you can start the trial after having only downloaded 15-20% of the game.

I think you can do anything, aside from the locked areas of the game, so you could go ahead and spend the 6 hours making all the characters you plan on using if you wanted to. I just plan to start my main character, which will be a female elf rogue, and play until I get to a good stopping point and then use the rest of my time to try out the multiplayer or mess with the CC some more.

I went in to see how to access the game and since I had already downloaded the full copy it went right into it and let me start playing.  I freaked out and backed out and am going to play tomorrow probably.  I want to stream on twitch but I have to figure out how to use my headset.  I hadn't started playing with it yet.

Definitely loving this game so far after 30 mins. You are able to jump an go to areas that I always wanted to in the other games. So cool to now have that ability to just climb up the side of a hill and struggle over or around it. I may just have to double dip on this ea access as I do not see 6 hours holding me now that I played the game a bit. 

 

Graphics are very nice on the one, I notice a bit of stutter in the opening few cinematic's but nothing game breaking and the hair as mentioned is a bit wonky but otherwise I love the graphics so far. The world and Ice in particular are stunning, I can imagine PC is going to look amazing but the one is so far doing ok graphics wise for me, and I do have a ps4 that I will be playing on also.

 

Just wanted to give a few impressions, nothing you have not seen if you watched the streams or videos, and no spoilers from me. Cannot wait until we can all play it at our leisure, as that 6 hour timeframe is in the back of my mind as I play LOL. So be sure to exit out when your not playing, do not want to waste those few hours
