If I cancel my EA access subscription after this, I should still get to keep my save files to carry over into the main game, right? That's not something they can erase because you decided to opt out their service?

Yes, EA has no access to your saves (local or cloud). You're safe.

Is multiplayer working? My plan is to test out the characters in multiplayer so I can decide what to go with on my first playthrough. Want to wait until the day or 2 days before release so I can slam through the Single player.

From reading player reactions online, multiplayer seems quite laggy. The devs had a hard time setting up a match last night for the Twitch stream. It seems like Microsoft hasn't worked out all the kinks on their end. I'd wait a couple days and see if people report faster loading times instead of wasting precious trial time.

Hi guys, does anyone know where I can find the music files that suppose to be included with the digital deluxe edition on XB1?

One of the devs said the files are at the website, so we'll probably get an email on launch day with a link.

Bekkael you might want to make a new char and read all (the basic that is) abilities, but keep in mind that reaching that point (when the game allows you to read your charact sheet) is `~45 min into the game:)

In case you're afraid of Tumblr (the link won't bite you :P), her basic recommendations are: explore all dialog with companions, get a horse, save time by avoiding templar/mage fights.

I'm sorry, but I don't know what you mean? Why would I want to read about my character's abilities? My only problem was making a character that I didn't like the look of in character creator....

...ah too late...and forgot about the horse:))

Speaking of horses - your companions disappear when you are riding right? Or will we still hear their ghostly banter?

...on related note (onlly in my head  ) I was little disapointed with the Qunary...she was like little puppy!

You asked/wondered what to do with your remaining hours so just a suggestion(as  find it good thing to do with the limited time) ...apologies if you actually didn't and I misunderstood.

Companions disappear, no banter.

I think I'll only use mounts when I want to get to a particular place in a hurry. It seems like they're the best way to skirt around higher level enemies.

I thought I read this somewhere, but does our save from the early access get carried over when we get the full game at release so we can continue where we left off?

There seems to be a few people wondering about Deluxe and Flames of the Inquisition stuff. It's not in the trial. It is still counted as being pre ordered so you will get it day one but not during the trial.

Ok sounds good.

I easily spent over one hour making my male qunari, but when I got to the first cinematic cutscene, I wasn't happy with the complexion I chose... Bioware: why didn't you include a Mirror of Transformation in this game?!? :(

I don't want to waste another hour of my EA Access re-creating my beautiful stud of a qunari!

You are lucky then! You can go exploring the crafting/reading ablities....you know all the fun stuff...and wait with playing the main quest for when the full game is out and you remake your character:)

As for the CC...I don't know how it is with the males, but for the females I found the eyes strange. Their shape I mean....actually males too - Varric have strange eyes. Tho that might be because I see him from alot higher (Qunary). Speaking of Qunary I love how tall we are. And I take back my concerns about females. They are big and great!

....tho poor Cass could use some meat on her :D

I just finished the prologue, and I have not yet.

Somebody mentioned it might not be unlocked due to it being a trial, I'm guessing that's true since I've been running around haven and have yet to receive anything. Probably the same with music files if true.

I'm just going to continue with my derpy character. No way I'm wasting my last 3 hours in character creator when I still may not like what comes out. I'll just go explore and save my "real" character/playthrough for when I get the game on Monday and have no time constraints.

I also hope they will soon release a DLC that lets you tweak your character's face again in-game. So tedious repeating prologues just to get your character to look right. *stares accusingly at ME2* <_<

Anybody else had a problem with the side quests?

I had a couple to complete, but the quest givers wouldn't give me any option to complete the quests.  I saved the game, exited, then restarted the game and the options appeared without anymore problems....only problem I've experienced so far.

I'm going to have to restart the game with a new character on the 21st, my quick cc of a female noble warrior is well, lets just say I  would prefer it if she wore her helmet during cutscenes.  :D

Is this the non-patched version?  Please tell me this is the non-patched version.

There are a lot of geometry issues. There is a greater shade down by a campfire near a mountain wall.  When I fought it, it ran through a "solid" wall to retreat, and the AI pulled Casandra in with it.  None of the other characters were able to go through the wall. Cassandra and the shade continued to fight (on the other side of the wall) while the wall reflected all the range attacks from everyone else.  I had to wait until she killed it, and then run far enough away to rubberband her.

Ouch - yea I hope we get a patch on release day. I haven't encountered this particular problem/bug, but if you jump right before talking to npc (why is the jump/use key the same?!) you are stuck hovering in the air... :)

...one thing that isn't really a bug but I would like if added is when we 'search' (you know with the button) for usable objects they appear on the minimap (if there are any...and only after active search to keep the minimap nice and clean). I am sure my inquisitor is more perceptive than me so it won't break the RP....and honestly it's quite annoying  to always look around after search and find nothing...

I started playing while the game was still downloading and now I've reached a deadlock and can't continue, which is fine but I also can't shut down the game to make sure my trial time isn't ticking away in the background while the game finishes downloading.  It's weird, the screen says press B for the main menu but when you do it nothing happens and I'm stuck frozen in the game still.  I really don't want to waste my remaining four hours of trial and I can't get to the options menu to shut it off that way either.

Has this happened to anyone else?  If so do you think I'm right to go to bed and I'll still have my trial hours in the morning or do you think I'm officially stuffed?  :(

 Sorry about the spam:)

.... such a thing have never happened to me (first game with such trial), but have you tried restarting the console?(hard reset...hold/hover over the xbox button for 5 sec or whatever) Not sure if that will stop the download process mind you....or that I would be brave enought to do it myself:))

...honestly if you don't mind doing so maybe go and make a tread with this question on the xbox one support forums....?

Edit: another question: can you minimize the game? If yes then go to your queue(in the apps and games menu) and see if you can't stop the DL from there....carefull not to uninstall the game:)

Of course, mid afternoon yesterday my body just shut off - 101 fever and body aches! Haven't been able to drag myself out of bed to play yet :(

On the positive, my IE charged today!

simple solution dashboard out press the menu button (Start) while you are highlighting Inquisition and scroll down until you see quit and press it.

You will have to redo what you just did but its not that big a problem.

Thanks so much for the response (sorry the forum's being flaky again and I can't quote.).  :) I've turned the console off, so hopefully that will stop the problem but I guess I'll know in the morning.  It kind of sucks but I think that's really all that I can do at this point.  I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed that I'll still have some trial time left, really if I end up having to replay the prologue I can live with it, I just don't want to have no time left at all.  :(

Croat 56 - Thanks so much for the suggestion.  That was really helpful.  I'm a PC gamer and so using the Xbox at all is completely bizarre for me and I haven't got a clue how anything works, so I really didn't know you could do that.  Thanks :D

Not done with all 6 hours, but after a hearty dose of playtime last night I think this game will stand on its own merit. It appears to have been made with great care, and I'm sure I'll enjoy playing through it sometime next year.

That being said, it will absolutely drive away a certain contingent of the DA fanbase, specifically those who were hoping for DAI to be DAO part 2. I'd argue that this game is much more like DA2 with some concessions made toward DAO than the other way around, at least from my experience on the XBO. That's not a bad thing, as I said this seems to be a well-made, solid game, it's just not cut from the same late-90's WRPG cloth as DAO.

I'd also argue that there's far more Witcher influence than Skyrim in DAI, specifically Witcher 2. Again, that's not a bad thing as I really enjoyed that game. I thought it was pretty impressive how Geralt's medallion managed to cross space and time to end up in the hands of the Inquisitor! ;)

TL;DR DAI isn't DAO-2 or DA2-2, it's something new and different, and that's a good thing. Enjoy it for what it is!
