That would be my guess for the fps issues as it ran smoothly for 6 hours straight for me.

 

My copy was fully loaded when I started and it looked gorgeous...

You can access multiplayer, although I have not tried it. I assume it's on the same timer. Maybe someone that's played mp can give you a confirmation of the timer question.

 

You can access multiplayer - it does count within the 6h timer.

I could not match-make or open loot chests in the store.

Just finished with my 6 hours. And it was marvelous! Made a Warrior and a Mage.. Still not sure what to play at release. Thought One handed warrior was pretty cool.

 

Anyhow...

 

Best part of the game was : I went down to the cellar in Haven, and then touched a torch. And it made my character walk upside down. "I walked with my head" Looked pretty awesome.!

Great game, just dissapointed with the hairs and beards, 

 

Beards don't actually touch your face.. yeah they float. Hair selection for human male is below average, no decent medium lenght hairstyles and the really short hairstyles (bar one) are terrible.

I assume you can't earn achievements while playing. I'm frightened due to doing actions and not earning the relevant achievement, or this trial screwing up the nightmare achievement, as I plan to play the entire first playthrough on nightmare. Be nice if a dev could comfort the achievement craving obsession within me.

Well I was earning achievements as I was playing. The way I understand it all ea access progress gets transferred to your main game.

My trial is finished.

 

I'm actually kinda glad, since they lock off so much crap that you would otherwise be able to do (the entire war table!), I was getting a bit frustrated. I had oodles of power by the time I got booted (that I could do squat with lol) and probably completed 75% of the stuff to do in the Hinterlands. Minus that level 12 rift! Yikes, my entire party except Solas died, and I just barely got him out of there in time. If you see a rift to close inside a cave and the demons have skulls under their name/health bar.....RUN AWAY!

 

Small rant here, so I'll stick it under a spoiler tag...

Confession: I really do hate the no healing/no health regen as much as I thought I might. I barely used potions for a lot of the fights, and then BAM! we would hit a slightly harder fight and most of the potions would be gone in minutes. I wanted to continue to explore, but nope, back to a bloody camp to heal and get more potions.    I'm playing on casual too, and it's still annoying enough to bug me, so I feel bad for anyone who will play on Nightmare. I don't have the patience for that kinda aggravation. My character also feels incredibly underpowered compared to enemies of a similar level. /rant

 

It's a very good thing there will be a day 1 patch. I had so many bugs and glitches that it felt like I was playing Skyrim and then some. There was a jumping area I should have been able to get to (there was stuff on the map there, just beyond) but there was literally an invisible wall preventing me from jumping up the different levels. Sure hope the patch clears most of this up. I'm most afraid of game-breaking bugs (like Skyrim!) than any of the silly little graphics bugs, those are easy to ignore and often funny. I'm glad I tried this EA Access deal, but I won't go for it again. It actually did have most of the limitations of a demo, without the benefit of being able to replay it as much as I want, and there was also the fact of having to pay. So...yeah, wouldn't be tempted to do this again in the future, but that's just my opinion.

 

Loved the companions/advisors so much! OMG, I am absolutely loving Cassandra, we will be BFFs always. Josephine is also ridiculously awesome. Solas is great, Varric is wonderful, Cullen is awesome... Can't wait to be able to actually delve into the story as I'm dying of suspense. Anyway, pretty good 6 hours, everything considered!

No, the demon and possessed wolf cave. There were walkways above and I ran all over and that stair-type wall seemed the only way up, but several steps before I would reach the top I would bounce off air (invisible wall) and fall down. Most annoying.

Or you could just give in, like us! If you don't want to do story, you could seriously just use the time to make your perfect character and then be all ready to get into the actual game at release, but do what makes you happy.

I'm actually liking Cassandra way more than I thought I would. I was pretty set on wanting to murderknife before I played but now I'm pretty sure we need to be bff.

Leliana feels...damaged. Sad. Not the same character as in Origins.

 

I'm glitching with dialogue wheels. It works for awhile but then sometimes I have to bring up the potions menu to get the dialogue wheel to work. It's weird.

Glitches are definitely everywhere. Crossing finger that the patch will make everything better.

So I got about 3 hours left on my trial If i don't play anymore will I be able to play 3 hours early the night before launch then transfer straight into the full game at midnight?.  So basically I get to start playing 3 hours early hm.

I only ran into one glitch in my trial... during one conversation I chose my option and the game panned to the character I was speaking with, then seemed like it had locked up. But after about 20 seconds of blank stare, the conversation continued as normal.

 

Only issue.

 

Well, that and my character looks like George St Pierre, and it's driving me nuts. So I'll be restarting on Tuesday.

 

Oh, and not as the class I planned.
