I've still got 45 minutes left!  I've missed so much stuff along the way too, I feel like I'm the worst Inquisitor ever.  I was like 'stuff your side quests, can't you see my timer ticking'.  I think it will be a great relief when the games released and I don't feel so pressured to do plot things in order to make the most of my time.  I just love Solas but he was being too long winded during the conversations for my time limit, cut to the point elfie, I've got things to do, people to see and Cullen to embarrass. 

 

How was your run?

 

This is a bit chatty so I'm spoilering it for convenience of forumites.

I ended up spending all of my 6 hours in single player. A 3rd of that just at the character creation screen. I have the trial for another account to try out other classes but it doesn't have gold so I can't play multiplayer. So... to those of you that did play multiplayer, how did you like it?

i went to the ea access it keeps telling me that i have to  buy sub to get the demo which will be the full game i already getting the full game from gamestop the deluxe edition, so i am on the fence because paying for the access to play demo then  having it  to erase after  its has ended sounds to be pain in the rear..

i just dont like having to pay for a demo that i tried to make sense of it, but the logic is play the demo before the game comes out i can understand.

 

but having to pay for it and waste 6 hours of playing  that cant be added to the game after you get the hardcopy is not a good thing in my book..

 

i will see you guys on the 18 in game i guess

I'm done with my 6 hours and since it cut me off in the middle of a scene is it going to save it?  It just gave me the option to close it.  Hmmm.  I don't remember when I last saved but it wasn't THAT long ago.

If I continue with the character I was playing, the first thing I will have to do is go sell stuff. My inventory only had 1 available slot left, but I didn't want to waste time with a merchant. XD

You shouldnt have to uninstall.it should carry over to full game once you start the full game unless somethin changed.its not a demo just a trial of the full game.I wouldnt imagine you playing on a hard copy affecting it.but i dont know for sure.its worth the 5 bucks amonth just for the free games from the vaul if you have it to spare

You just have to pay $5 for a month subscription. Download the trial (which is the full game) and then you are set. On the 18th when you get your game from gamestop and put your disc in, you won't have to download the game again and you can start back right where you left off at the end of the trial.

Yea I had that same problem.Most of my inventory was trash items meant for sale.

So I just finished my 6 hours and in my last hour I encountered what I think is a pretty serious game breaking glitch:

At some random point I suddenly was unable to switch to any of my party members--I was literally locked as the Inquisitor. The D-pad just would not work and it didn't matter if I was paused in tac cam mode or live in the action mode. It was really annoying at first, because I couldn't micromanage my party during battles (I was playing on Hard) but, even worse, I came to a locked door that I couldn't open because I couldn't switch to Varric!

(If I accidentally hit a button or something that intentionally prevents you from switching party members, I will feel pretty dumb, but I literally tried every button combination and looked through all the menu options to see if I was missing something... It worked just fine for the first five hours, though!)

No, the demon and possessed wolf cave. There were walkways above and I ran all over and that stair-type wall seemed the only way up, but several steps before I would reach the top I would bounce off air (invisible wall) and fall down. Most annoying.

You reach that part by climbing and jumpin up a large section of the broken wall that runs slightly of to the side under the bridge .also only thing up there is 3 or 4 small loot caches.so you didnt miss much.

Well I spent 4 hours in the CC (vain, I know) haha I don't know If I just suck at all that or if it is harder than I assumed it would be. But I did make a fairly decent looking Inquisitor by the end of the 4 hours. I kind of didn't want to spoiler it too much so I went straight from haven to the hinterlands without having any discussions with anyone. The only time I spoke to Cullen was in the prologue and then again at the war table in the chantry for the first time. But you got your first flirt option with him? I'm so jealous, lol. Cass though! I was unsure about whether or not I would like her (great rack aside) but when she gave your quizzy a comforting pat on the arm (and she doesn't even trust the inquisitor) when you collapse from the rift pulse I was smitten! She is going to be my bestie! I didn't encounter any noticeable bugs and it ran perfectly. Bring on release day!

I am more in love with Cass than ever after watching some gameplay and even more gutted that I can't romance her with a lady.

Why does it keep letting you flirt with her? Why does she respond the same as with a m!Inquisitor? Why must you give me such false hope Bioware? *sigh*

 

Also WOAH @Seeker stuff. That is gonna be super interesting going forward.

 

Josie seems super cute too though and like a really interesting character but I also live for unnecessarily detailed political subplot stuff lol.

Actually I spent about 1/2 my time in the CC too.  We are the worst trial gamers EVER!  I think you're right though, I found it awkward to use the controls to get anything I liked too.  I'm hoping it's unfamiliarity with the controller and things will go more smoothly on the PC.  God damn, I love Bioware but what I wouldn't give for some Sims hair right now.  I actually ended up with a mullet as the best option for one of my gals, she had sideburns, truly she ended up looking like David Bowie (and not his super cute Labyrinth incarnation either!)  The buns and ponytails seem to fit too lowly on the brow or something either way they've got no height, I need volume and lustrous locks to effectively restore order to Thedas    The fem elves seem easier to get a better facial result with though.

....honestly (although I didn't took it and don't know what they say) being pretty sure Cass is male only romance I was very pleased to see the female flirt option....even if it lead to Cass turning us down. It would be the first game to include that I think.

 

....about how underpowered your char is compared to the enemies....did you play a mage? Because they feel somewhat weak before you get few levels in them (which is normal). My 2handed warrior (who I played just for 45mins mind you) felt very powerfull on the other hand. Don't know how the rogue feel....

I fraking love David Bowie in the Labyrinth! But alas, our Inquisitors will never be able to compete with his voluminous locks. Most of the hair is truly awful, lol. I couldn't help but laugh when going through all the options and yes, the sideburns! They couldn't have changed the mesh just a tiny bit for the female hair so we don't have man-burns? I think I settled for the ponytail in the end which wasn't too bad but yeah it does sit forward on the forehead as you said. I am a console girl but I do think the CC would be a lot easier to use on a computer. When I get the game in my little hands though I can spend a copious amount of hours perfecting my Inquisitors and then it wont really matter to me if her hair looks like shite. *sigh* The game was really pretty though, but I did have some trouble using the tac-cam. I would bring it up and issue my orders and then they would just do their own bloody thing. Maybe I didn't execute it properly and missed a step that was obviously an imperative one.

 As for the tac-cam. Did you mean that they do what they want after you have told them to use specific skill or do they just ignore you altogether? (which will be....really cool...and you need to be nicer!)
