Omg. I've waited this long for DAI and now I'm going to die before release. 103 fever. Kill me.
Plenty of rest, water, and meds! Feel better!

Don't watch this YouTube video of this guy attempting to play, https://www.youtube....h?v=zLLkhMn3L4A . He does not know what he is doing and just bumbles around. You feel like just screaming at the computer to tell him what to do.
Of course I am also jealous because he is playing it right now and I am waiting for the 18th so I can play it on my PC.
So question guys, will I need to download the whole 41 gigs to play the 6 hours ? Because if so I'm pretty sure I mgiht as well just wait for it to come out, it wouldn't be done until like tuesday anyway. ![]()

You do, though like normal you can play after a certain percentage has been downloaded (I forgrt the number)
I could start playing at around 10%.

You do but listen- I literally have the worlds ****** worst internet EVER and I put it to download at like midnight and it was done when I woke up the next morning. No Big!

I could start playing once my download was up to 15%, but to play after the prologue I had to wait until it was 41%.
I have about 45 minutes left of my trial and I'm trying to keep myself occupied in other ways so I don't use it all up. Maybe play it Monday before if I can hold out that long. lol.

That's why I'm waiting until Monday to start. I know that once I start playing, waiting for Tuesday will be even worse!

Right? Monday I work from 8-5, but when I get home I'm going to eat dinner and then sleep till my husband gets home around 11. Play the rest of my early access and then hopefully it'll just auto unlock at midnight! I took Tuesday off work to play!
Has anyone else noticed their character being crosseyed? I'm starting to wonder if there was something I accidentally did in the character creator that made her that way....her left eye is defiantly closer to her nose than her right eye is. She's an elf, if that helps.
Oh god my 6 hours ran out last night and I am starting to get withdrawal symptoms lol Friday seems like a lifetime to wait:-(
Ouch...yea you should have waited for 17-18th to play the trial:)
...but on other hands you migh want to revisit the wonderfull Kotor (Or wasn't there an expansion for SWTOR dealing with Raven? coming out about now?)....

I'm in the same boat. Basically EA is now the most evil company out there due to me now having extreme withdrawal symptoms. Its going to be hard not spoiling the game for myself during this week.

You ain't kiddin'. This thread is bookmarked and is the only thing I'm looking at on these forums for now. My wife keeps making fun of me because I have absolutely nothing to do this weekend and keep pacing around the house looking for something to do.

The positive of this, is that it is marketing genius as I believe it will get a lot of people to buy it wanting MORE. It's not even a joke though, I'd probably be doing something right now if I hadn't of played dragon age yesterday :/ Maybe ill go kill an archdemon or something.
Too bad you guys don't like spoilers. If you did, you would have plenty to read/watch in this section of the forums. ![]()
But cheer up, friends! We are so very close to the end now....just days until we can all lose ourselves again in Thedas. We can all make it. I believe in you!! ![]()
What is your guys thoughts of the graphics quality from the trial? I think it plugs along nicely for the most part, others it seems to suffer when lots of motion is on the screen and characters at a distance...

The long distance blur in cutscenes (like when it zoomed way out to show your conversation from a distance on the first bridge) almost seemed like it was intentional. I might be wrong on that.
The shiny metal stuff had issues at times, seeming to glitter more than it should (Like the very early cutscene of Casandra walking into a dark room). I had a bit of a gripe at first that my male inq's lips were far too glossy, but it turns out that the default appearance I started with actually had a couple of ticks of "Lip Shine" in the makeup section that needed to be turned down. So it wasn't a graphics issue, just that I didn't think to check the makeup section in character creation.
The walk-and-talk cutscenes had some character shuddering just like DA:O did on xbox when you were walking and talking to Duncan right after you finished your origin.
All said, I loved the graphics. Huge improvement over DA:O and DA2 console versions. HUGE.
Clearly not as good as PC will be, and the issues I noticed with the glittery shiny stuff was almost definitely the reduction of graphics settings for the platform.
I dont know. I believe we on One are on high settings...which sure isn't the highest setting the PC crowd 'could' play DAI at, but I doubt that the average PC user will be seeing better graphics than us (and not to mention PS4)...not that it will bother me if they do.
...maybe we, on consoles, can get a few settings: Lower shadows, but better textures or something like that?
...oh and please don't start a war on what is better:)
I guess I could have said "as good as PC CAN be".
Either way, the graphics are definitely good enough for me to stop and look around at the pretty.

Oh the final part wasn't intended for you. I apologize.
...You might pass. Have a nice day!
Why did the scene from DAO (on the bridge to Lothering) entered my head suddenly...go away!
...please dont take my silver away!
I haven't played the early access, but looking at the footage, I like that the character models are so detailed.
