But I've wasted enough time here, and I'm not about to let the likes of you milk an argument out of me for the next hour.If people actually want to have a productive discussion here, please feel free to do so.
About Chris Brown...
Are you serious?

This guy was also involved...
I completely disagree. I would say he is the closest to what hip hop is when you compare him to the rest of the big artists.
Not to mention his technical prowess, command of the language when it comes to rhyme scheming.

@TheClonesLegacy I'm not the one calling everything I don't like "trash" and you saying you'll throw insults at people is just proving my point.
Quite the opposite. My comment was merely I was holding back on throwing insults back at either of you (epecially DKR, who is borderlining calling me stupid).
I don't plan on intentionally insulting either of you. If I have, you struck first. I called an artist I personally find artistically, and morally crap as such. You two escalated it from there.
And "reasonable" went out the window when you slapped your opinion on something and attempted it to make it fact, so don't sit there and say you "tried to be reasonable."
I never do that. I leave my opinion as is, and defend my personal stance on it if need be.
You're allowed to disagree with me. But calling me a hypocrite is not a good way to go about it.
Agree to disagree dude.
In any case. I'm done. I'm really not in the mood for another Ban.

People, people, please don't argue about how long you're been here and the amount of friends you have. Any other argument is cool, but this is silly.
This already reminds me way too much of Facebook.
It's important, you don't understand. The first three likes shown on a multiply liked post are based on earliest join date.
That means I get precedence over almost all of you. That means if someone were to say that Chris Brown is a misogynist scumbag and tons of people were to like it (inevitable), everyone would still be able to see that
Shaiapuddi liked that.
It's very important.

What what is? Did I trigger the sexist defense force just for saying a guy who beat the **** out of his girlfriend is one?

I concur. No one takes Chris Brown seriously.
OP, I cannot be disappointed in an album when I only had the lowest of low expectations from the artist (and, indeed, a large subset of the pop/R&B genre across the board) to begin with. "Chris Brown's album is mediocre and rehashes the same topics" is as much of a topic conversation starter with me as "the Pope is Catholic."

I was never a fan, I prefer songs with a lyrical or tonal narrative or a more evolving harmony, perhaps I am crazy, but most popular music is severely lacking in at least 2 of those attributes.

I'm still scratching my head at the fact that anyone would defend that dirtbag.

Why is it when someone doesn't like it, they result to petty name calling such as "he's trash" and "he's mediocre" and the ever popular "he has no talent." Do you think he would have been in the music indsutry for a decade if he didn't posess at least a little talent? And @FastJimmy You can't really be disapointed in an album you haven't listened to...
It's not petty name calling if it's true

It's not 'name calling' at all, it's personal opinion.
