I'm doing some toolset stuff and I want to copy the cutscene animations from a scene where the player stabs a defenseless person in front of them, and I figured someone in here would know

Can anyone remember a particular scene/area where the player does this?

All I can think of at the moment is Owen the blacksmith in Redcliffe, but it seems like instead of doing a stabbing motion, Owen just attacks the player and then you kill him, which isn't the same kind of effect I want.

How about killing Genitivi in the Sacred Ashes quest?

Then there is executing the lady werewolf in the sidequest in the forest.

I can't remember if there is any special animation for killing Vaughn in the cell in Denerim.

How about killing Ruck in Ortan Thaig?

Genitivi: He turns away and you throw a knife in the back of his head.

Werewolf: She's laying on the floor so the player does a low stab

Ruck: Another one where he just goes into combat.

Vaughn (in Denerim): PERFECT! Step forward and low stab in the gut

Well, you can stab the guy in the cage at Ostagar as well

I knew there was at least one that I had forgoten about.

You can also kill Zevran, but I think that too would have been the wrong animation.

Is it not possible to make a custom one? I am surprised the toolset doesn't have this as an option.

Making a custom one is a lot of work, it is far easier, less frustrating and time efficient to reuse an existing one that works just as well.

I did make a custom one, since I wanted different camera angles, I just wanted a quick way to find the animations and sound effects I needed to make it look and sound cool. Finding the animation and sounds you want is a royal pain in the ass since the naming schemes for both are so wacky.

there is nother one, eventhough it is not the PC who does it. Duncan guts Ser jory on the initiation ceremony.

There's also the option to kill the leader of the assassins that Marjolaine hired...that gives a view over the victim's shoulder of the PC slicing the throat open with a knife.
