Yeah, but what better time to release some concrete info? Bioware seem to be bigging this n7 day up on their facebook page, etc. and if they were able to release a couple of blurry screenshots last year, we should get something a bit better than that, this year at least. 

 

Exactly my point aswell.

 

This would be really awkward if they gave us some scraps last year and NOTHING at all this year when the game is no longer a toddler from developing stage.

 

I would feel like they are embarrassed with thir results on the newest ME to show it to us!

N7 Day 2014 does seem like a perfect moment for a teaser trailer... but that damn DA:I is just in the way...

 

This would take some seeerious convincing on BioWare's part to make EA allow this....

Like say a Mass Effect teaser that ends with promoting the Frostbite engine which segues into Dragon Age Inquisition (like 'Try Dragon Age Inquisition for Bioware's first Frostbite experience!'). I am not expecting them to reveal the actual title of the game (A simple 'Mass Effect' would be enough for me) as that might cause all these gaming sites to go into a frenzy about what the title could mean.

I believe people severly overestimate the impact that the announcement of ME'4' would have on Dragon Age Inquisition. It's not like people would say 'oh look, a new ME game is announced, let me cancell my pre-order for DAI'. Not to mention everytime a ME game or a DA game was released the sequel for the other one was already announced, so if anything, history tells us that the next ME game would be announced by the time DAI is released.

All that said, we're talking a bit more than a week before the release of DAI. And officially announcing the next Mass Effect would fell weird, It would be ok if was at E3, way back months, but now it does seem too close to Dragon Age coming out.

So I'm not expecting an official announcemet, but I am expecting or at least hoping, for more than we had last year.

Thinking about it, I'd be happier with the announcement of a good remastered trilogy for next gen consoles than I would with a bit of info for the next ME'4'. Especially if ME1 received some work in its gameplay and art style... that might be too much to ask though, simply because it might not make financial sense. Although I really would love that.

Depends if I can load a save game from the trilogy into ME:N or not. Even then I think they can do both.

I want a remaster because it's the only chance we have of BioWare releasing the trilogy with all the DLC included. I just got a new PC (upgrading from consoles), and I don't want to buy the DLC all over again, especially with annoying BioWare Points.

Aaryn Flynn announced on his Twitter that there'll be no news about the trilogy on next gen today - it's posted in the Twitter thread. A shame as that was what I was hoping for most, but hopefully it's still a possibility. Other than that ... I've no idea what they might share, really!

But that post also said something like 'more news on the trilogy later on', isn't that just a roundabout way of saying they ARE making one? I bought the whole lot for PS3 only 4 months ago (including full-priced DLC), so they'd have to add some MAJOR new additions for me to buy it.
