im getting it just to look at the intro sections first(classes, races, blah blah)
then i will look at the maps once i beat the level

Just use it when you can't figure something out, or you want to make sure you do all the side missions(as reference) For basic walkthrough of the main story, waste of monies, imo.

I haven't really needed a guide for Bioware games very much, so I see it as a waste of money. On the off chance that I become frustrated, I'd just post in the forums and get a free answer from the community.

I'll buy it when I pick up the game but wont touch it until I beat the game at lest once. Nothing kills the emersion factor more than pausing the game ever few minutes to reading a guild. That’s part of why most JRPGs aren’t worth even renting these days. Too many impossible to find without a guild secrets.

They are already updating the wiki. They have info on bonus talents. I use stuff like guides to help plan how to build my character
