Also we are getting getting specific content to tailored to our race/class/backstory, but it´s going to be spread out throughout the game, we are obviously dealing with the chantry so the human inqusitor might get some specific content there, Dwarves will most certainly get that when you deal with the carta, elves while meeting dalish clans and so on
But I understand people having reservations,I´m still on the cautiously optimistic side when it comes to certain aspects of the story but I´m still confident that this game will be worth my money, if it´s going to surpass DA:O in terms of replaybility and quality, well I won´t find out until the game is actually out ![]()

You know, I really wasn't planning any kind of "media blackout," but the lifting of the embargo on Nov. 11th has me worried. The slew of videos and previews from page 1 were spoilery enough, so what will we get when they "release the hounds," as it were? While I am trying to save myself from learning the major plot points, plot leaks don't bother me as much as seeing cutscenes. I really want to save those for the game.
I'm torn between my greedy desire to soak up everything DA:I and my desire to be fully delighted when I actually get to play.

The critical video didn't bother me one bit. I thought they were giving their honest opinion and were upfront about their preference for the game to resemble DAO as much as possible.
People like different things and hold different features as the most important for their game preferences. It's completely OK for these particular reviewers to feel that the experience they wanted wasn't wholly fulfilled. Their review didn't put me off playing DAI, nothing would at this point. I'm committed to the purchase but I felt they were honestly stating their opinion and that's really all I expect from a reviewer.
I like what I've seen so far in the promotional material, I like the fact that the developers claim that choice and consequence is a big part of their design, I have some reservations about the combat systems and the minimization of the tactics options but I haven't seen anything to suggest that DAI won't be a massive, story driven, rpg filled with interesting characters and companions to adventure with. So for me the boxes all remain ticked regardless of the reservations these players had about the game not living up to Origins. We'll see for ourselves in a couple of weeks. ![]()

Well if there criticisms were intelligent and actuallly sounded like they paid attention to what they were doing I might chill.
The game won't be perfect. Neither was DAO. But most of their complaints are rather ignorant sounding.
Then you haven't watched/read/listened to a lot of previews. There was this one guy that was almost comically uninformed. The example you used about the qunari mage 'somehow being free' is niche info, most people will not be aware that the qunari we're playing is Vasoth, but at least he knows enough about Thedas that he knows Qunari mages will USUALLY be chained. So yeah no, they weren't perfectly versed in DAI's lore nor do they need to be in order to critique it in all honesty. You don't need to know the history of the Elder Scrolls front to back in order to have reviewed Skyrim for example.
Although I've thought of another problem with the review. Though this is more a problem with reviews in general than it is with this one specifically, and it's that games aren't judged for themselves often enough. They always have to carry the weight of all the games that came before. But at least this review is upfront about that.

Is there any video that showcase a male human mage ? Just wondering.

It's not like we're relying only on cherry picked examples of bad quests. We've seen quite a lot of gameplay, of stuff that Bioware has chosen to put out there, not maliciously leaked stuff.
No, but the highly involved story related side quests are probably too spoilery to show.

It looks like that one horrible interview by GohaMedia in Russia with Cameron Lee was taken down or made private. There was a lot of nasty comments from Youtubers (myself included) that I think they got the message about how unproffessional their interviewer was.

Forcing you to pay more attention to strategy is strategic, not tactical. There's a difference In definition that makes it important to have a distinction. Tactics is the options available to you at any given point. It might make you more tactical. I have 4 potions left. Party is banged up. Here comes a tough fight. It will likely, don't know about how you'll play, make me decide whether I want to fight that fight and if I do how I want to position the party and how I want to attack the enemy. The point is that those things are not more tactical, true but by existing they might force you into playing more tactically rather than just charging in with no thought to how you want to engage your enemy given your situation.

I just keep reminding myself that when DAI's released on Origin - it'll be at a much-more-reasonable 9 PM on the West Coast... ![]()

The female commentator never even play any RPGs, but she said she have fun in CC and combat. And they talk about how interesting it is to chose what you can say in dialog and have companions reacted to it.
you can skip this one guys, no new stuff here.
