After wathcing this. Male elves certainly look like 14 year olds. If you look at the Inquisitors armor, it looks like he got boobs.

after watching the 1 hour video im wondering if the game's controls are terrible or is the guy playing it completely incompetent
B is right... LoL
Dammit all the previews are making female characters.
I think it's just The outfit.http://www.gamespot....h/2300-6422099/

Okay, I've just updated the Mega-Thread with all the media interviews/gameplay as well.

They do have thin arms though.
There seems to be little to no differnce between elven males and females, other than breasts (maybe).
It's like they designed male elves for pedobears. They really look laughable in comparison to all other races.
They should do a surprise release this weekend to not release the same day as GTA and FarCry. Not that I would play those over this, I just want the game early as I am sure we all do
, would be a wonderful surprise that is for sure. This game looks amazing and beyond what I had hoped for from the detailed looks we are now getting.

Pretty sure it's impossible, but it's fun to dream ![]()
Listening to that hour game play video now. Cassandra: *ugh*. Why do I get the feeling she will be doing that a lot in this game? lol.
removing Cassanda's armour and letting her fight in her basic stuff....attacking defenders from the front....jumping everywhere.....SKIPPING ELFROOTS....

....you're joking, right?

Do you have to be obnoxious about everything?
If other people like the design of the elves and want to play them, that's their business. I don't see the point in complaining about something that you're not going to use. If you think the elves look like teenagers, pick a human or a dwarf or a qunari.

I'll go with number 2. And even then, none of the player's characters died until near the very end of the hour. That goes to show that the game can be fairly easy - and not require any tactical play - for those that desire such an experience on a lesser difficulty setting.
One issue I noticed in the one hour video was that there were at least three instances of enemies appearing out of nowhere right next to the player. I assume this has something to do with the game not loading the enemies properly. Hope this is just a case of the reviewer having a crappy PC rig.
So far the previews have been great and its reassuring to hear only good things about the game. The wait is killing me! Also loved the physicality of the Qunari! The female Qunari is HUGE, and the male is supposed to be taller than she is? Though one slight issue seen in the gametrailers preview was that she seemed to be out of the camera view sometimes which was a bit odd. I hope that is not really the case and hopefully it was just that scene.
Just a side note, while watching the PS4 gameplay video from playstation access they commented that the tactical view is pull up by clicking the touchpad, Hadn't thought about how exactly you would have been able to do that !
I wonder how remote play would work though?

At least you have option, you can always go with Dwarf, Qunari and Human, female options basically are 14 for all the races unless you are Qunari.
You know, after a previous video, people were knocking Mother Giselle. But I really like her voice and her look. It may not be generic fashion model, but I think it's quite striking. I'm all for a lot of variety of looks in the game.
hmm, well gutting her was to much to hope for I guess, you put on those robes, you declared war. (the Chantry has a kill on sight order regards the Dalish, so.. I return the favour)
Since when does the chantry have a kill on sight order for the Dalish? The Templars may go after the keepers as apostates sure, but there is hardly a kill on sight order for Dalish. Heck if you aren't totally billigerent to them in DAO at the beginning they don't even care that you are Dalish or that you have been branded an outlaw, they are just trying to take care of the people there.
Head cannon serial killing aside, I loved the portrayal of the revered mother at the cross roads. Much much more inline with DAO's portrayal.

The elves who accepted the peace terms at the end of the March on the Dales became alienage elves, and had to burn all their culture and abandon their faith those that didn't (and the chantry kept the kill order on them and their descendants) became the Dalish, whether they still act on it, no codex entry that I know of mentions that order ever ending,

I can see them being considered outlaws or whatever for refusing to accept the terms of the peace agreement, the same as any other warring nation that refuses to lay down its arms after peace is agreed to, but I have found no reference in the Wiki, WoT, or remember it anywhere to there being a kill on site order for Dalish.
Anyway, moving on---Why did the guy doing the video showing Val Royueax have to talk over the speaking. I am watching this to get an idea of story, not hear your swedish or german voice talking over the game ![]()
From the hour long gameplay you can see a spawn bug, so far it seems as a major problem, but maybe it´ll fixed till release.

I wouldn't consider it major. It happened only one time as I recall. Granted it resulted in a party wipe I believe. But for only happening once and it being a random respawn after he/she cleared the area it isn't quite major.
I am certain that there will be some bug fixes/tightening up of the game for launch, but this is hardly what I would call major.

It happened atleast 3 times in that gameplay... once after the tunel and twice at the forest which one of them resulted into the wipe.
But so far it seems as major issue, just sayin ![]()

That last one is the most serious offense. ![]()
