Something has been bugging me:

Is importing your "world state" from the Keep equivalent to importing your saves from the previous games?

Ie: does the Keep cover all choices that will carry over if you were to import a save, OR, were there choices "intentionally" left out of the Keep that can only be carried over if you import your save game?

Again, I am not talking about the little stuff that doesn't carry over - or the missing plot tiles that will not affect DA:I - but things that will actually add, remove, or modify the next game in any way.

If a plot flag from DAO or DA2 affects something in Inquisition it's in the Keep.  If a plot flag is in the Keep, that doesn't mean it affects Inquisition.

To answer your question, though, the Keep is better than a world state because, unless you play on the PC, you can't fix import issues(like DA2 not registering the Warden romanced anyone if you import from Awakening).  With the Keep there should be no issues like that.  And if there are issues with a bad flag on an import, the Keep allows for the ability for Bioware to fix those issues, rather than just say "That wasn't intended, but there's nothing we can do.  Sorry"....

All choices that will carry over are in the Tapestry, there is no save game importing.
