What nope? I just said that in video they said one thing and seems that they corrected it. I remember only video. So this post clarifies things. ThanksNope. The 40 endings issue started in March/April after a gaming review mentioned it. Darrah addressed it a few days later. I'll found His post in the forum.

My point is that the videos happened later. The post was made before any videos, because the first time they talked about the 40 endings was some days before Darrah's post, When a journalist claimed that There Were 40 endings. What nope? I just said that in video they said one thing and seems that they corrected it. I remember only video. So this post clarifies things. Thanks
Anyway, I'd lower my expectations on how Many different variations in the mage end there'll be in the game. I'm not even sure we'll get to choose Something other then supporting Mages or templars.

LOL. Wait a sec, I don't know where you got the proof that Templars are looting and going bandit,
What is stated and written both in the game and out.
but the mages are burning down farms, killing innocents and they don't get judged ? Nice logic there.
What makes you believe the mages won't be judged?

Mages rule Tevinter because mages are superior to mundanes, plain and simple. Magic is power, power is strength and the strong rule. It is why Tevinter has endured and will continue to do so. Also Tevinters are inherently superior to the rest of Thedas. The south is filled with fear mongering, illiterate, uneducated and unwashed savages.
uhm, I am just going to assume that you are roleplaying here as their is ample evidience of both literacy, education, and bathing in the rest of fereldan. Fear-mongering happens everywhere though.

that is a load if you caged anyone but a mage this way you would not question the oppression.
Actually i have no problems with criminals and other dangerous people being caged.
One way or another one submits to the rules of society; be it the law, prison or the grave.
Its simply civilization.

I've always stood with the mages, They're simply more fascinating to me than any other class. Simply because of their powers. The idea of getting rid of mages makes DA sound insanely boring. Plus I never liked religion in real life so screw the templars.

Now we are simply arguing semantics.
Personal taste.
Opinion.
The first fallback for mage supporters it seems, when they cannot evoke emotional response.

The arguement of the greater good is a moral grey area that allowed these issues to breed and foster.

You expect rational and well thought arguments from barbarians? They are to busy quaking in fear and festooning themselves in the chantry's propaganda which is geared towards weak minded simpletons giving them an excuse for their downtrodden and miserable existences. Tevinter has no such compunction, nor makes such excuses. Our power gives us any right.

No i don't.
I really don't need to point out the one government ran by mages beyond the Dalish harming normal people every single day, its pretty common knowledge how sh*tty Tevinter is.
But i do point out how many people are harmed by magic, mages, demons and alike, all of which could have been prevented had they been locked away from the populace.

Every single thing about Tevinter has been seen and heard second hand. Most comes from chantry nonsense...and it is indeed nonsense.

Not really. Most of thedas licks the unwashed dung covered boots of the chantry. Tevinter runs their own show, besides if the chantry didnt paint tevinter as the big bad. They might actually be held accountable for their nonsense and grievous misdeeds.

Mages are pretty much like walking ticking bombs that could go off anytime and blow anyone in their proximity. I don't know about you but I'm not comfortable having a ticking bomb near my person walking freely:-).

I have played all the games, and have red almost every book. Never have I encountered anything about templars going bandit.

Power?! What power? A Templar can cut down atleast 10 mages. We have trained all our lives, our duty is sacred, our sword guided. I shall not let these heresies countiue! Barbarians?! Your people accept slavery as something normal, and sacrifice to blood magic is crime againts all principles of life. What is our barbarism ?! And fear. what fear might you be talking about, the mages are not locked up because people fear them, they are locked up , so they don't do something stupid like tear the vale... oh wait. THAT HAPPEND. That's why we Templars are needed, so pituful mages who complain all of their life about being mistreated, when they are acutally being fed,and have been given a life,a chance to be what they are in peace. All who have proven themselves haven't been mistreated, they have been allowed to travel outside the Circle. All they have to do is prove they are not a threat to the outside.
