Have to see how it works first.
BUT, at this stage I'd like to go huntin' with Cassandra tank, Blackwall DPS and Sera for the DPS & lulz. All of that in Nightmare mode.
I really don't like the Iron bull right now.
Romance, still on the fence between Cassandra and Josephine.

You know the second question requires a lot of thought right? There are so many amazing characters in the DA series, can we include books? Can they be dead etc? *ponder*

I will usually take dorian and varric, and switch out the fourth.
LI: either josephine or dorian, haven't decided yet.
I think I'm going to play a good-guy mage for the first time. Possibly a good-girl mage. But making a party and LI is going to be difficult as I don't know enough about the characters yet.
I think Cassandra or Josephine will be the LI...
The party will probably be along the lines of my Inquisitor, Blackwell or Cass, Varric or Sera, and someone who can fill out a forth role in battle nicely.... I'm not sure. Maybe the elf mage.
EDIT: Actually it will probably depend on which characters open up different story paths for specific missions.
I know I'm playing a Dwarf Rogue Inquisitor, but I have no idea what my party will be like. I want to play an Artificer, so I would want a ranged Rogue, like Varric or Sera. I don't who I'd choose as the Warrior between Cassandra, Iron Bull and Blackwall. For my mage, I'd probably choose between Solas and Dorian. I haven't fixed a LI. Let's see who I like.

Well we start out with Solas, Cass and Varric which I'm very happy considering that those 3 are probably my favorites. So I can see myself using them a lot. Also Sera, Bull and Dorian.
Dream party:
I just really need both Morrigan and sarcastic female Hawke in my party at some point. I would do anything to see them interacting hehe

Ultimately I want to use all of them. Won't know who will be my favorites till I get into the game. Since I will be a support mage, female Dalish, I may roll with an all girl team. Still haven't made up my mind about the first LI but I got a couple of prospects I'm eyeing.

Not sure about Fenris, he might bully Merrill too much. Any of them can be Izzy's LI. Except Shale, for obvious reasons. I imagine everything that can go wrong, would go wrong with this party.

Second party- Zevran (romanced by the Warden), Finn as my mage, and Varric, with Varric as my romance.
