So just to make sure, the hour that shows up on my library is in my timezone and not Korea's timezone, right? So I won't have to convert anything, when that hour comes in my country, I'll be able to play it.

Thanks for explaining all this stuff.  ;)

Yes exactly. No need to convert anything.

No Problem :)

My SoftEther always had about 10-20 korean servers, not a single one of them worked?

Origin is NOT Steam. Until now, no one got banned for Preloading and Downloading earlier.

As long as you dont buy Games cheaper through a VPN, you have no Problem.

As viperidae wrote above: There are multiple Korean VPNs to select in SoftEther. One of them must work. If not, then its possibly a Problem with your ISP.

Sometimes a Server is simply full or the local Korea Internet Data Center Connection / Bandwidth is too slow. Try another one.

I only use VPNGate aka SoftEther. I cant recommend any other.

If Origin is completely closed and you are connecting through a VPN: It can take between roughly 60 Seconds and up to 3-4 Minutes (if the Connection is that slow), until the Origin Software Login shows up on your Screen. This is normal. It is not crashed. Do not open your Task Manager and close it. Have patience.

Softether does not work for all Internet providers. Some seem block it or gets ported wrong. It works at my dad's house on my laptop, but not at home on my PC.

I find a solution to that by using direct VPN's, but I have not found any free korean vpn for that.(Only US)

Well to be fair, it'll only be one day difference between the US an KR release dates. still, it's weird that it doesn't work for you through SoftEther, like MeerMusik i've only ever used that program without problems so i couldn't really reccommend you anything either.

I had the same problem yesterday and have been helped in another thread: Don't pause the download, just disconnect from VPN.

I still find it stupid that games come out not only at different times in different countries, but the same time for a digital and physical release. One is that it seems unfair to those that don't want spoilers and have to avoid the internet for 3 days just the to play the game unspoiled, and the second is because there's no need to send out a disk of any sort, you just send out permission for people to play the game.

Huh. I'm pre-loading the game using VPN but my download speed stays capped at 90kb/s. I might as well wait for the European release date at this speed.

edit: I did turn off VPN after the dl started, but to minimal effect.

Disconnect from VPN while download is running so you can get max speed from your internet connection. You just need the VPN to start the download and activate the game.

I tried another Korean Server and this Time, it shows for me here with a Germany based Postal Address:

Preload: November 14  - 06:00 AM

Available = Playable: November 17 - 04:00 PM

This time the Korean Server thing worked. Last time it showed November 18 06:00 AM still.

Anyway:

Short answer: No need to use a VPN every Time. When the Game is activated, it is activated.

Long answer:

There are a dozen of Descriptions in the Net. And here is the Link again which Burricho already posted:

http://www.reddit.co...titanfall_early

I have never Pre-Ordered and Preloaded a Game on Origin my self yet, but it works basically on all Platforms the same way.

And the Description above is for Origin itself.

So basically:

Make sure yor are Logged out of Origin (and the Website if you visit it before) and close Origin completely.

How to Preload:

1.) Connect to a Korean VPN Server

2.) Start the Origin Software and Login like always

3.) Start the Preload of #WhateverGame

At this point, the Description says you can pause the DL and disconnect from the Korean VPN, when Origin has been loaded around 20 Megabyte

Other People had more luck after 100 - 200 Megabyte were done. Unpause the Download. UPDATE: 15.11.2014: Do not pause the Download. It does not work for everyone. Simply disconnect from the VPN and 10-60 Seconds later, you should get the maximum Download Speed from your ISP.

5.) Wait until the Download is complete

6.) Logout of Origin

Preload done.

You can start Origin without a VPN Connection anytime you want, if you want to play / download another Game.

Personally, at this Point I will make a Full Copy / Full Backup of the Preloaded Game just in case the DRM Software "has her days" ;)

How to Play:

At the official Release Date and Time:

1.) Connect to a Korean VPN Server

2.) Start the Origin Software and Login like always

3.) Start the Game

4.) Wait until the Game has loaded up to the Main Game Menu <- Depending on your PC and ISP Speed, it could take between 60 Second and in very very rare cases up to 5 Minutes. So dont worry! Origin must Download and / or decode the Executables (the File that starts the Game).

5.) Tab-out of the Game to the Desktop. Or: If you dont want to play now, close the Game

6.) Logout of Origin

7.) Disconnect from the VPN

8.) Play the Game

9.) Happy Dragon Hunting :)

You dont have to reconnect every Time through a VPN as soon as the Game has been activated the first time. Currently, the Origin Software is not able to deactivate it. !Just make sure to not use Origin or put it in Offline Mode until your local Release Date! EDIT: This is because a small case of People reported, that Origin has deleted the Game Folder. For now, its not really a forced uninstall but a Bug within Origin itself.

Who knows, maybe they will close this hole in the future. But for now you are fine.

Luckily, no Constant Internet Connection needed for DA:I.

And yes, as it actually stands, there are no known People that got banned for Preloading and Playing a Game on a different Release Date.

Buying a Game cheaper while using a VPN is another thing of course...

So, i tried logging out of Origin after opening the game, but it says i can't because the game is opened?

Yeah normally you could close Origin at that point.

After the first start of DA:I, I minimized the Game and were able to close Origin.

I think this is because of the Multiplayer Part and / or that Denuvo Protection System. Not sure. Just let Origin open in the Background for now.

Aside from that, there is another "not-so-nice-thing" happening:

Everytime I wanna start DA:I, I have to first login through Origin (by using the Korean VPN of course).

Not sure if this will only be this way until the EU and Japan Release Date are here, as Origin Activation System is simply checking Time and Date.

[Well when the official EU Release Date is here, we can normally start the Game without a VPN. But I dont know if we can play Offline without Origin at all.]

It can be, that we have to Login to Origin every single Time because of the Multiplayer Part and / or the Denuvo Anti-Tamper Protection System.

I have already disabled all Online Parts InGame but nothing works yet.

I am going now to enjoy DA:I. Later People :)

I have downloaded the game. can i use the VPN for hong kong to buy the game and just get the activation key, or will i have to downlaod the whole game again from origin. Mind you, my download speed is very low.

i was thinking that it will be allot easier if i just buy the game from a hong kong VPN and just put in the activation key, instead of downloading the whole game client again.
