I've only ever customized Hawke. Actually, I've never played any default character. So, yeah, non-default.

I never used defaults. I always customized my Hawkes and if I have that option again, I will.

Me neither. One of the reasons why i never engaged with Geralt as much as i did with any BioWare protag - he simply wasn't "mine".

I will most likely use default Hawkes; I don't usually spend a lot of time on customizing appearances.

I've never used the default Hawkes. They look pretty fine, but what's the point of being able to customize something and not doing it?

I prefer customizing my protagonist in RPGs but DA2 was an exception (and one run in ME1).

 

I used Default Femhawke. Maybe I will tweak her a little if the new engine makes her look weird or change her haircut to vary things a little.

 

I tweaked Default ManHawke with some mods though (he looked to much like Default Gamlen without the beard and his skin textures made him look way too old for Act 1 and 2). So I will likely customize him more.

I'm not a huge CC fan. Usually I just cycle through the default faces till I see one that looks decent, then I'll change hair, eye color, and other small things.

 

I like to make my character slightly personalized, but I don't care anything about messing with face structural options. There is always at least one default face that looks good enough for me.

Defaults have never felt like they were my character. As much as I love games like the Assassin's Creed series or the Witcher games was always aware that this was their story, not mine. This is my story, though from two different characters, so it needs to have my face on it. Well, not mine exactly, I'm entirely photo-friendly  . Also, I always have ideas and looks I lurking in the back of my head but since I can only use one per playthrough I often reverting back to several prominent looks across all custom characters. If that look is already present in a returning character (Hawke) I can branch out a little more with my Inquisitor and try something different.

It depends on how Hawke ends up looking in DA:I. I chose the default female Hawke without the red smear on her face, so if she ends up with that mark on her face by default, then I'll have to at least remove it.

 

But overall, I quite liked the look of the iconic female Hawke so I won't completely change her looks.

I really hope they allow for the two default faces of Hawke(with and without smear) in DAI like they did in DA2...

I had default Hawkes (male and female) and some with custom faces, for me Hawke like Shepard was a recognisable character and I mainly used the defaults for both (mainly female for both). Inquisition like DAO doesn't have that recognisable character so I'll be customizing all my Inquisitors.

 

Oh and just to say I loved female sarcastic Hawke.

I used default Hawke appearances because I was never content with the custom appearances I could make compared to the defaults. The same with the ME games.

This is due entirely to the limited CC for DA:O and DA:2. (The ME games for the same reasons.)

 

However I'll certainly be customising my various Inquisitor faces as extensively as I can in two weeks... and three days (Damn you UK retailers!).

its one of my gripes with DA2 its set over ten years and the bloke don't age I mean come on!

I like the default a lot, so I always used it. That said, I hope we can modify the default slightly in this one to maybe add some wear and tear. Also it looks like Marian has a rounder face, so I hope I can modify her jawline.

I used the default Hawke for my DAII run, but I think I will customize her hair and maybe give her scars this time around. She needs to have some physical marks of the time passing during DAII and since then to Inquisition.
