I heard female dwarves could have beards in Inquisition? Or course I heard it from one of Hitler's henchmen so I don't know how much truth there is to it but can anyone shed any more light on this?

They can have facial hair, but nothing extravagant like the male counterpart.

Can only female dwarves have beards? I smell the distinct stench of... preferential treatment.

That's only fair imo, gender equality or so I've heard. Wife of Stannis has a nice beard, don't see why female dwarves shouldn't have beards too.

A better question would be why did female dwarves get beards.
Ugh.

Female Dwarves have always had beards.
It was never a question of if, but rather one of where.

This made me so happy when I first saw it.
I just wish female humans and qunari could get some fuzz, too.

I don't think the male stubble is that well suited for lady dwarves. It looks too rough. Softer, finer hairs would be better, but I get why it was easier to just allow the regular stubble.

Don't forget that they're dwarves. Soft and fine aren't often used to describe them.

Ugh.
If I recall correctly, there was mention in one of the twitch streams that there had been requests for it.

I know, but generally human and elven women don't have beards at all (maybe some exceptions for humans, but still). Female dwarves having more compact fluff on their cheeks would already set them apart. I think that would suit better with the type of dwarves we've seen so far.
