My concern over possible bugs on DA:I....

My concern is that, well for every large, open-world game with massive amount of quests, a **** load of bugs. Even well-acclaimed Skyrim seems to have damn infinite number of bugs that will never be completely solved even with countless unofficial patches, and many of them left still cause major instability in the game.

Here is my list on bugs I have seen in DA:I videos so far (sorry I can't locate each video; they are too many):

- Misplacing shield on the back of Male Qunari Inquisitor, especially when you are placing landmarks
- Clipping magic circle for the Barrier skill when the terrain is not flat (while other AoE spells seem ok and I don't think this problem is hard to solve)
- If your computer spec is low, cinematic timing will be out of place
- Some destructibles like stones will float in the air when destroyed
- I saw when an enemy was shocked by a lighting spell and knocked down by a warrior skill simultaneously, the effect will cause said enemy to stand still instead of being effected (I don't know if this is also problem from low spec PC)
- Your companions seem to move erratically... if they found they are too close to the controlled character, they will move away only to find that they are too far away. And they will repeatably move in and out....

- Additional from the above, it looks like almost everything can be stood upon. Even though this is quite a strength, I found that sometimes your companions will be on the places that they shouldn't be, such as crafting tables, terrace fences, etc. Plus it seems your companions don't know how to jump as AIs.

- Drakes seem to have very long range attack for melee-like moves. Maybe this is something wrong on my eyes

Well, that's all I can remember, I hope the release version will be fixed, or at least within some period of time after that.

Well did anyone know what happen at 3:50? It seems the enemy was pushed away without any noticeable skill used? Or will it be a bug again? ;__; (Though dat slow-mo combo looked cool)

Thanks dudes. This high-level gameplay looked cooler than most low-level videos out there.

Some of what you said is immersion breaking rather than detrimental to game play and will most likely be fixed after more pertinent issues. I think the number one bug fix that's need is enemies spawning right on top of you. This could be due to system specs or simply the engine (lets hope not) but enemies jumping on you is not a great game play experience (swooping is bad).

All the videos I watched don't show jumping enemies. They've already been loaded and are running around doing their thing.

To be honest every game is gonna have its bugs and glitches. But even so they would end up fixing it. I'm just hoping the bugs and glitches wouldn't be so bad that it is unplayable.... that's what every hype game does nowadays. As long as they don't try to rush things. It should be fine.

Honestly I'd be happy if those bugs you listed was all that was wrong with this game. What I am afraid of are the bugs the stop progress in quests. I remember early DAO had one where if you raised Leilana's approval too fast it locked you out of her romance quest. Also in Awakening you can screw up Sigrun's loyalty quest if you started a quest out of order.

I can deal with a glitched graphic or misplaced object... but screwed out of content really bothers me.
