I'm right there with you. Especially since I have bought a lot of games and am still looking forward to Order 1886 and The Witcher 3 when it comes out and I just bought Advanced Warfare with the season pass because of the zombies :-) haha. I love zombies, well..shooting them, that is.

I pre-ordered the strategy guide, so my first playthrough will be a combination of the guide and the wiki. My insane perfectionism won't allow me to play blind. I must know my choices and outcomes before making them. I can't help it. I think I need Meta-Gamers Anonymous or something. :D

I'm getting the guide, but my first playthrough at the very least, will be blind.

I'll be using the guide for later games where there might be more specific things I want to go after.

Going for one blind, trying to feel the game and weight of my choices. The other gameplays I will look at Dragon Age Inquisition Wikia.

I'm getting the guide but my first playthrough is always blind. Mainly get the guide for companions recruit info and all the extra side stuff. I know I'll need it for the star puzzles.

I plan to play blind for the most part. The only wiki guides I follow usually are the ones about your companions- how to get them to like you or hate you, usually. But generally for the first playthrough, I go completely blind. Once I finish the game the first time, I'll look at a walkthrough to see if there's anything big that I missed out on.

I'll play blind up until the moment I happen across a chance to spoil it.  The puzzles look like I won't get stuck forever, so I'll probably cheat only when I find something else to get stuck on.

Blind for the first playthrough and then lots of Google and YouTube for the other playthroughs.

Since I plan a lot of playthroughs I don't care if my first one will not be perfect, I like surprises and hate spoilers... so, definitely no guide for me.

I guess, it all boils to the question what is more important for the player - perfect playthrough or that great feeling of discovering the story on your own and step by step?

Blind. For the first time through I'll only be using the net on my console to import my world-state. After that, 0 spoilers. No 'aaawww man, that was awesome, I can't believe this happened to me' conversations with friends or acquaintances until I finish for myself at least once.

I didn't know I could save Carver by taking Anders along on the expedition until after I had already beaten the game. I want a lot more of these types of realizations.

Blind until I mess something up and don't like it...then I'll go back to an old save, try to fix it, and if I can't fix it, I'll google like crazy.  :)

I will likely do one or two playthroughs blind and then go look up some stuff.

I play an area blind, then use the guide to go back and clean up what I missed. Best of both worlds that way. I get the thrill of finding stuff on my own, but then I am able to snag those ridiculously obscure things I might have missed.

Wait they are doing puzzles. God I hope they don't do the resident evil type kind that make me want to blow my brains out.

I will kill the first NPC that asks me to retrieve a crest.

The first time through you have to play blind... BW is notorious for have "holy ****, I can't believe that happened" moments. With a guide you lose those jaw drops.....

Then play again with a guide to get the ending you want.

I'll play blind as well though I might need help with the puzzles... I can try out all the possible combinations with the Skyrim stone pillar thing but I don't think I can do this with the constellations in DAI. Will definitely seek help on google if I get stuck for 5 mins.

I'll probably get the guide but play blind the first time around, only consulting it if I'm in a really confusing spot or tough boss. Also useful if they offer builds just for reference.

Will probably use the guide on subsequent metagaming runs.

Play blind and get the scare the **** out of me with the twists of the story and the wtf why this happened???? Definitely loved my first playthrough of the Da games. I adored my mistakes, i even kicked out Morrigan in my first play in Dao but then my brother scold me and told to to go to a back save, but there wasnt one :) so i died a hero mage. I want to do the mistakes in DaI but i will have way to many saves in every place in every minute. I am totally sure that i will die many, many times.

I'll be using the guide for more trivial things like finding illusive items and solving complicated puzzles. Nothing spoiler-y.

I'll probably buy the guide and skim through it looking at the pictures, like I did with the Destiny one. It had some interesting pictures. For the most part, I'll play blind until I stumble across something that has me stumped. Puzzles are good for that, sometimes I get them on the first go, other times Google is my best friend. Especially the puzzles that punish you for failing. /sideways glance at Saints Row 4.

I've written a few quest guides for an MMO before, making sure nothing was missed and everything is written in a clear, concise manner can be difficult, so props to the people who end up writing them for Dragon Age: Inquisition.
