Dragon Age: Inquisition is getting so close to release and I was wondering.  I've seen a topic about a Demo and that would be nice and all but I think the best thing to release is a Character Creator.

So players can start creating the character or characters they plan to play and be able to jump right into the game once it's released on November 18th.

Good idea, no?

Ahh well, I guess I'll be spending first day starting over numerous times because usually faces look different when you're actually in the game compared to character creation.  This was a big problem when I was playing through Origins, man that was a pain -_-

HA, I actually started playing Dragon Age 2 this week and I decided against creating a character since I feel that the voice of Nicholas Boulton doesn't match up well with anything else but the default look.

I got two weeks to finish it, and I finished Origins last weekend getting all the achievements.

Actually - joining EA Access allows you to play 6 hours of DA: Inquisition on the 13th.

Which would include character creator of course.

If I remember correctly, they tried to address this problem by having the CC in what would be the most common lighting environment. I think they mentioned this in one of the Twitch streams.

Nearly all CC streams.

Seems like it's for XBone specifically.  I have a physically copy pre-ordered for PC.

Good, I believe this was a problem for almost every game that had character creation.

I'm so worried about the awful hair styles.  I hope there's even ONE that exists which I like.  Whether it be for human, elf or Qunari.

I'd like that so I can finish my Inquisitor sooner, since I have a feeling that post-release I'll be spending a long time tweaking my character in the CC with all of those options  B).  I'm very focused on my character's appearance in RPGs.  I look forward to a mod or DLC that will allow me to go back to the CC mid-game.  I really overused the console command in Skyrim/Fallout that gave me the ability to edit my character if something bothered me (which some minor detail always did).

I'm sure I'll manage somehow (...)

There's 1 DAO n DA2 hairstyle in DA:I. I think it's human only, tho I hope I'm wrong. It's the long braided pony, with two little hairs on both sides of the forehead. I can't find a proper pic, just stupid mod ones. There's someone who has all the hairstyles, first is the male human, 2nd to last in the 2nd to last row. Sorry, best I can describe it. But least we get 1 DAO(2) hairstyle.

Anyone notices if there is any physics on the hair?

I don't give myself a chance to look up videos or read the forum since I'm usually neck deep in DA2 until I have to work.

Would be nice if they added a CC in the keep, so you made your quizzy at the same time as your world states

I think having it in the browser would be difficult, unless you mean just the gender, race, and class.

The creator I was thinking about was the full one from the game so we can play with those sliders and hair and such.

I am not always sure demos or pre release character creaters ARE a good idea. If the question is would you like one? Then YES! But demos and character creater stand alone programs are NOT trivial, easy things to make. They take a lot of man-hours to create and tweak and test and wouldn't that time be better put into the game itself not a product that will lose its value on the 18th? Demos haven't proven to help game sales either.

By CC I want to be able to create my quizzi directly from the keep. By doing this you can create your ideal character in any world state, you just import the file (with the completed inquisitor) and it is good to go  :P

Is there a video game where you can pick hair where hair isn't bad? Games with pre-set characters seem to have gorgeous hair sometimes, but games with a CC always seem to have lackluster hair (mods notwithstanding).

I doubt anything is going to happen because we're too close to launch

LMAO

"too close to launch"

It's funny saying that

Like 3 years wasn't long enough
