just imagine how great DAI would be if they didn't have to hobble it by making inferior last gen versions and in turn weaken the current gen to avoid the backlash

I think it's less about backlash and more about catering to a wider audience.

Still not sure if I'll get this for my PS3 or PC. I played every DA on console, then replayed them on PC. And besides the mods, I still like console more. So I'm torn. 10 days before the game comes out. DundunDUNNN.

So... good news is that I pre-ordered the PS4 version. Bad news is I won't be playing the game before Xmas since my family was kind enough to help me get a PS4. I won't be playing on last-gen, but I do hope everyone here will have a good experience with Dragon Age Inquisition.

 

I really can't trust games that huge on last-gen consoles ever since Skyrim happened. I know, it's a different engine and different programming, but better safe than sorry... Anyways, hope people aren't stressing too much over this like I did. Seriously, I was on the fence for months until my mom told me she would help me getting a new console. It really sucks being broke.

Still have my old 360, love it to bits. but any new games are definitely bought for the PS4.. the difference is just too big in most cases

BF4 i felt like i needed glasses all the time because everything was so blurry, it legit gave me a headache.

Since its the same engine however graphically more impressive than BF4 i hope old gen is not going to face the same issues BF4 old gen had.. frame rate issues and absolutely horrendous graphics to the point everything was so blurry and aliased its hard to look anywhere in the distance.

PS3 scrub here. DAI is really the first game to come out for the next gen that I'm actually interested in, and I'm too cheap to upgrade for a single game. Whenever I'm finally tempted into it, I'll just buy another copy.

I've preordered Inquisition for PS3. Considering I haven't really played around on the PS4 yet, I don't think I am going to notice the "difference" and that doesn't bother me one bit. As far as I am concerned, Inquisition is going to look great to me and that's all that really matters   Plus, Destiny looked great on PS3 (I didn't have a single complaint) and I can think of other things that require my money rather than a PS4.

 

Any other PS3 users planning on doing multiplayer?

 

Just wanted to add I will definitely be doing multiplayer. I was heavy into both SP and MP of ME3 (even though the damn RNG didn't like me AT ALL) so I'll be back at it on the PS3. Anyone else want to do multiplayer when it comes out, feel free to add me. PSN name's the same!

My dear little 360 is still happily chugging along. I don't yet have a good reason (or, more importantly, the finances) to upgrade to a One.

 

When I do upgrade, I'll probably get another copy of DAI.

Even though I'm getting a PS4 next month I'm getting DAI for my Xbox 360.The downgraded graphics aren't a concern for me since I care more about the story and gameplay.

360 here too, no plan (or Money) to upgrade to xbox1. It was good enough for Origins it will be good enough for Inquisition

What kind of witchcraft are you using?   My laptop which is about the same age is now struggling to even run DA Origins properly (It is Dell XP15 with i5 @2.3 gb , Nvidia 525m with 4 gb ram etc.)

 

Anyway PS3 here and I can bring some sodas and chips.
