I'll troll elsewhere when you and yours stop spamming the boards every day with the same tired, old, annoying topic.

Allow one thread to exist, and no more spam. This issue isn't just going to go away. Hell, the ammo thing hasn't gone away. While I agree with not spamming the board, we should be able to have a thread on it.

I've already reported this thread as spam, as well as those in it that constantly use vulgar speech against anyone that has opposing views......which accounts for a large percentage of the gay pushers.

Handheld knows this is false as there is no default chosen sexuality it is all about preference and yes you can compare heterosexuality to homosexuality as they both pertain to human choice of partners whether same sex or or opposite sex.

So you're saying homosexuality/heterosexuality is a choice?  LOL, you need to do a bit of research my friend.  Our sexuality is innate, and heterosexuality is GENETIC.

We are a sexually reproducing species the last time I checked, and we all have sexual organs that are conducive to this axiom; even the gays...

Handheld also knows calling homosexuality a minority is a huge understatement go to san francisco and handheld will no longer need to prove his point.

Thats because gays flock to San Francisco from other areas.  Not because homosexuals are populous..

Also, even in San Francisco, heterosexuals are still the majority by a large margin..

Handheld points you out as false as it is a choice and homosexuality is a choice and sometimes people choose to date other men/women saying it is otherwise is like saying we are forced to eat meat because everyone else eats meat NO!!!

Handheld also knows gays do not flock to san francisco and if you think heterosexuals are the majority you obviously have not been to the gay parades.

and as for the guy who said Handheld is a homosexual Handheld is not However handheld does not discriminate either if someone wants to date a man or marry a man it is not Handhelds place to choose whether they can or not.

Many good arguments get lost in the noise. It's only to be expected but we'd fare better if most of us would stick to arguments without making personal attacks or taking offense at every second posting...

The evidence pointing to homosexuality being innate is rather overwhelming at this point.  I suggest you do some research, then form your own conclusions..

The idea that homosexuality is a choice has only a few supporters these days, mostly among the hardcore religious folk that have a vested interest in making homosexuals out to be sexual deviants that choose their lifestyle..

Handheld also knows gays do not flock to san francisco and if you think heterosexuals are the majority you obviously have not been to the gay parades.

Why don't you post some evidence then?

According to this article, the percentage of those that are gay/bi in San Francisco is 15%, which strikes me as accurate from what I've seen

There is no place on Earth where homosexuals constitute the majority.

I'm not sure why this board doesn't have an "ignore user" feature. It would make trolling much less effective. As it stands I have to memorize the usernames I'm ignoring which becomes trying.

Anyway, yeah it would have been nice to have a gay romance available. Canada has allowed gay marriage for about 6 years now, which is of course where BioWare is headquartered.

LOL, I find it ironic that "spam" to you is anything contradicing your views, just like "troll" is anyone that has an opposing opinion..

You gay pushers think you can just ram your opinions down everyone else's throat, and we are supposed to say,"Thank you, can I have another one please!" Image IPB

handheld again thinks its a choice if one wishes to become attracted to males or feels they are more attracted to males then it is there choice to become gay they do not have to they choose to Also Handheld thinks you can post as many links and articles you wish it doesnt change the fact that you called homosexuals a minority which is completely and utterly incorrect.

Handheld asks you to remember that the entire state of california had a debate about whether to allow homosexual marriages and Handheld saw that over 2 million homosexual people raised there voices in response to the gay bashers and religious folk.

Handheld thinks that 2 million people is not a minority especially in a state where about over 30 to 35 million people live.

STOP!

Hammertime.

Who here wants only one thread on this topic? EVERYBODY!

How to achieve this:

If you do not wish to constructively discuss same-sex romances, do not post in the same-sex romances thread!

Locked threads = New threads = "Multiple" threads = Your own fault, complainers.

Just look at the single, several million page Garrus thread. If you follow my suggestion, we can all achieve this compact, efficient dream.

No spam is what you are, it's in your blood.  You cry and moan about these threads yet you perpetuate them... that's called spamming and/or trolling.

No Really, that's what trolling at it's fundamental core means, here's the wiki definition.

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

I'm technically a troll now, I wasn't when this all started, but now I am, and you're DEFINATLY one.. I'm just trying to point out what you need to come to terms with and accept, it's an innate quality of yours Mordigan, it might be genetic even.

But I'm done, I'll stop trolling, just wish I could hit ignore on about 5 different people as it would make my day.

And a much larger percentage of the straight pushers.

SuZe seems like a character who would be much more open to female advances than she is, I wonder if Bioware did that on purpose.

Am I the only one confused by Mordigan's seemingly contradictory comments? I mean first he argues with handheld, who I'm pretty certain is anti-gay, then revan who I know is pro gay content. It's very strange.

To get this thread back on topic: I support the idea of same-sex romance and would applaud if Bioware would see fit to cater to all gamers so that they have equal opportunities to have an immersive game experience. Bioware has done this in the past and many of us would appreciate it in the present game (as a patch or even (ouch) as an optional DLC) as well as in future games.

Thanks in advance! :)

I'm for same-sex marriage (there goes all of the arguments you idiots have against me), but I'm happy that Bioware is forcing us to get into one. Not every game is required to have same-sex marriage, and it is up to the developers.

I'm glad there isn't same-sex romance in ME2. That way, I don't have to deal with the bs. There is already same-sex marriage in my country so I could not care any less.

Isn't alien sex enough for you perverts?

Do you think you could make a "choice" to be gay?  I know I sure as hell couldn't..

Also Handheld thinks you can post as many links and articles you wish it doesnt change the fact that you called homosexuals a minority which is completely and utterly incorrect

Then show me evidence that supports your notion that homosexuals constitute a greater percentage of the human population.

Handheld asks you to remember that the entire state of california had a debate about whether to allow homosexual marriages and Handheld saw that over 2 million homosexual people raised there voices in response to the gay bashers and religious folk.

You have a strange view of what constitutes a minority then..

Reputable studies suggest that the GLBT population in the U.S is around 2 to 4%..

In California, it's probably slightly higher than the rest of the nation because that state is supposedly the most progressive state in the Union, and gays flock there; much like they do to San Francisco.

This is what, the seventeenth thread on this same issue? All that happens is the exact same repition of events (with slightly different wording each time). I don't have any problem with same-sex romance. I do, however, have a problem with people that love to do nothing but complain upon a feature that isn't in-game. It's probably not gonna happen in ME2 unless there already are such characters. The best bet is ME3. A DLC would break immersion, IMO.

And as I said a bit back...

ChaoticBroth wrote...

Why do people bother continuing

And sorry if I come of as harsh or anything, but this is how I see it.

Tell it to the Tali and Garrus fans after ME1 came out... hmm, wonder what happened to their wishes...<_<

I have to agree with Revan. Pro-gay content people were completely silent between ME and ME2, and got screwed over. Tali/Garrus fans were loud and whiny and spammy and got what they wanted.

Bioware set the precedent, not us.

They don't force you to do any of the romance just because the content is there.

It is OPTIONAL!!!

They're not going to force me to play any of the crappy hetero romances that they flooded the game with and I will opt not to play them.
