Yeah, the evidence that Meer had actually recorded actual dialogue for a romance with Kaiden is pretty frustrating as well. This, along with the seven whole new romance options in the second game, pretty much throws all that "Well we didn't have time to implement a gay male romance" nonsense out the window. They had more than enough time.
