This is what, the seventeenth thread on this same issue? All that happens is the exact same repition of events (with slightly different wording each time). I don't have any problem with same-sex romance. I do, however, have a problem with people that love to do nothing but complain upon a feature that isn't in-game. It's probably not gonna happen in ME2 unless there already are such characters. The best bet is ME3. A DLC would break immersion, IMO.

Also, we're at 60 pages now, and we're being very civil. All we have to do is keep it going until something happens. Worked for Garrus/Tali can work for us too.

I wouldn't mind having a gay/bi male alien for M/M, as long as he wasn't an assassin. XD I love Zevran (favorite romance in DAO), but one bisexual assassin is enough. Of all the species, I think the Drell would probably be the most likely to be used for this, as they are human-esque, and their build is slighter than MaleShep's, which seems to be necessary for M/M romance to occur. O_o



Granted, I'd rather have a human male as the love interest, but beggers can't be choosers (unless you're Garrus/Tali fans God I'm a horrible person). I wouldn't mind Joker being both F/M and M/M, but that's probably my general obsession with Joker talking.



For F/F, I'd really like to see a human female (that's more than a fling, Kelly) instead of an asari.

You assumed because I thought they shouldn't be in same sex relationships I was saying they should be in opposite sex relationships. That's not the case.

To be fair, you need to include that as well and then post it on the Garrus/Tali boards where it actually applies.

I have nothing against the inclusion of homosexual love interests/relationships in RPGs, and I agree that it would be a very nice gesture towards the LGBT community.



But as others have said, have such characters/relationships fit into the story in a realistic manner; don't try to shoehorn one in just for the sake of it. Include a gay/lesbian/bisexual character from the get-go; don't try to adapt a heterosexual character for a homosexual romance. It usually just comes off looking like it's forced.

I think we all agree, here.

Having a bad gay/lesb romance just for the sake of having one is cheap, as are bad written heteromances.
One Kelly is enough.
