What happened to the days when you could swing a threesome in a Bioware game? I'm looking at you Jade Empire... ![]()

I kind of hope there is still some jealous banter not love triangle jealousy though. More like a close friend doesn't like or really trust you LI or is close to your LI and doesn't want you to hurt them.

It would make playing a promiscuous female elf entertaining, that's for sure.

Jealousy is still a thing, somewhat:

^ she got called out for flirting with someone else while in a romance with Cullen. Whether this was a conversation or banter, and what those consequences are, we'll have to wait and see; but there is some kind of jealousy dialogue in there.

I see. I kinda like that. A little bit of jealousy can be good for a relationship since it shows you care. Although characters fighting over your Inquisitor like DAO would work, too. lol. Games like this are kinda like a power fantasy, so stroking ego or not, as long as it's entertaining.

Well, tbh, it wouldn't be realistic if you could flirt with whomever you liked and your LI showed no response to it. Some of them are going to be a bit possessive, not in a bad way but in a "hey, we're excusive I thought" way, and some might find the idea kinky and be into it so long as they're included. But however you slice it, there should be some kind of reaction from them.

I hope there's a way to work around it, or at least an established you can flirt as much as you want up until this point. I'm pretty bad about taking every flirting option available to me. And I've even slept with all four of them in DA2 once, although I felt too awful about calling off with Merrill after that to ever do it again.

I like it this way. No harem for you, senpai.

We're expected to save the freaking world
Why is it such a bad thing that there won't be "I can't believe your hanging around with that girl" -(Morrigan) or "You've completely destroyed my heart I will never be the same again" -(Leliana)
I WALKED INTO THAT ON ACCIDENT
Somehow Leliana and I ended up in a relationship, I gave her a f****** lute. A LUTE.
It is far easier and less painful to be locked into a romance instead of parachuting into a toxic love triangle

I hope reactions to flirts depends on character. Like Cullen is jealous, IB joins in (not like wanting a threesome, just enjoys flirting), Josie is diplomatic but asserts her position subtlety, Solas is completely oblivious to the fact that you're doing it, Sera makes fun of you for your terrible pick up lines, Dorian is confident enough it doesn't bother him, and Cass does that disgusted noise.
I'd prefer to imagine her repeatedly stabbing a book a short distance away while watching the Inquisitor flirting. ![]()

I don't care for the jealous banter.
What I am a tad worried about is "locking in" too early...I'm not completely sure who I'll go with in my first playthrough. I suppose I'll have to decide ahead of time to be safe. :/

lmao, this is a really funny image, but I'd actually find that really offputting if it happened in the game. I'm not a fan of excessive jealousy. Had an ex like that before, it wasn't cute....it was just obnoxious and kind of freaky how possessive they were.

I will find it very odd if Isabella does not show up and offer a threesome.. Just out of respect of consistency. Hehe.

It was pretty funny in the previous games I'm sad that we are being locked in one romance.
You're locked into one romance at a time. But if you dump someone for someone else there's probably some jealous dialogue.

I never experienced much 'love triangle' jealousy banter aside from a couple Bela/Fenris/Anders dialogues. They were amusing, but I prefer the kinda 'protective older sibling' dialogue like you get from Alistair when you romance Zevran. I thought it was sweet lol. If anything I hope we can have dialogue like that at least.

Weren't we supposed to be able to flirt around a little before being completely "locked in" a romance? Could be some jealousy banter there?
