I loved jealous banters. It showed that our companions could develop romantic feelings for us even if we didn't like them back thus making them more alive

I always found jealousy banter stupid because why would so many companions knowingly stick around with me if I'm blatantly sleeping around behind their back?

You're locked into one romance at a time. But if you dump someone for someone else there's probably some jealous dialogue.
Zev as well - gotta stick with tradition ![]()

Jealousy is still a thing, somewhat:
^ she got called out for flirting with someone else while in a romance with Cullen. Whether this was a conversation or banter, and what those consequences are, we'll have to wait and see; but there is some kind of jealousy dialogue in there.
That is awesome!

I like the fact that the player/Inquisitor seems to be the one getting scolded. That's not so bad with jealousy dialogue. I wasn't a fan of the whole 'two companions bicker with each other while you contemplate your navel' kind of jealousy dialogue. (E.g Anders/Fenris and Leliana/Morrigan)

But Cullen isn't a companion so how do we know that was about Cullen?

If it's anything like the whole Leliana and Morrigan jealousy banter over the warden, I could definetly do without. That was just childish and pretty unbecoming of their characters, it was so blatantly intended to fuel the player's fantasies of having women fight over them.

She was romancing him at the time, which we know from her other tweets.

I am so glad that I am getting locked in relationships.
It drove me mental in Origins because I romanced Alistair yet at the Dark Ritual option, Morrigan asks me how Zevran would have felt. I was like - what the heck does it have to do with Zevran?! Turned out I accidentally triggered a 'romance' with him that no one else picked up on. (never kissed him or anything - he fell in love with my character instead of keeping it at friendship).
Then of course, I romanced Isabela in II and she doesn't get locked in until the 3rd act - thanks Bioware. It drove me bonkers that I still had the 'flirt' option despite being with Isabela.
So hopefully it will be a little more neater and once I'm locked in a romance, I won't have the option to accidentally trigger a different romance while in a romance with someone or that it takes hours/days before I can lock someone in a romance when I am in a romance with them.

Maybe I just get too invested in my characters, but I've only done this once during my first ever playthrough of Origins. I THOUGHT I WAS JUST BEING NICE! Why did Leliana have to fall for my Dwarf and make Morrigan mad :<
I don't think I've actually had a love triangle happen since.
I suppose when I build a character in my head to play, I just never come to the conclusion that he/she needs to have as many people as possible desiring him/her.

Forget about jealous conversations. I want jealous fights. Like cat fights. Mud fights. Groin kicks. Duels and whatnot.

I wouldn't mind something like this returning, with both of the love interests your PC is two-timing confronting you...
Except, in the end they both dump the PC for being a scumbag ![]()
