These are from The Tang dynasty China(618–907 AD)
Were they living in Medieval France?
You are assuming migration patterns would be identical to earth. Again your premise is STRANGE, this isnt literally Europe you know.
Duncan and Isabella are the same race?
This is one time I actually buy the "They couldn't do it for whatever reason" bit, like how Horned Qunari and tattooed Tranquil were supposed to be in DAO originally. The old engine just didn't handle skin tones well.
OP, since all humans came from Thedas's equator, they could all have been dark skinned at one point. What do you think about that?
If so then the people of the Tevinter should be black, no?
OP keeps ignoring when people tell him Thedas isn't Europe. Based on does not mean equal to. It's a troll, people. Stop feeding it.

I said they had interactions at the time and yes, they did live with the greeks. Very few.

I can assume, i'm free to assume. The reason i love DAverse is because of it reminding much of medieval Europe. Otherwise this universe would be another generic fantasy.
I'm always confused by the notion that 'no x were living in region y'. Sure, the percentage might have been very small, but there is no reason why there shouldn't be any people of a given ethnicity living in a certain place. The notion of "travelling" isn't a revolutionary invention made in the 1800s.

Did they live with prejudice from the Greeks?

It's not based off medieval Europe. The tech and thinking is way too advance.

So different migration patterns mean it doesnt remind you of your previous perspective? 0_o I dont get it, I just dont get it.

Really? Medival Europe is horrible, and Bioware is far too PC to depict that. Maybe try the Witcher

They inter married with them.
..It's after weekends like this that I think the mods aren't getting paid enough to work there. No matter what they are making, they should get at least a $2 raise.
Why focus on just the Rivaini? The Qunari have skin tones varying from bronze to grey to onyx.
The dwarves and elves also have varying degrees of skin tones (I'm actually suprised all the dwarves arent a very very pale colour considering they never see the sun)
Oh boy....
It's just you.
You know, as a non-American(born and bred Asian), this whole POC business confuse the heck out of me.....

It's actually backwards, but I hold controversial views when it comes to history.

Considering magic, lyrium, and the like, I doubt biology would work the same way(I cant believe I typed this, but I did).

Considering there is a lot of strong evidence indicating that Africans taught the Greeks pretty much everything they know, it would be kind of silly for them to be prejudiced in the same way say Americans are towards black people today for example.
It's just you.
Thank you. It was just me.

Black Athena? I heard it was just hogwash.
