Well I hope you will get to make a video with a lot of juicy details, provided BioWare finally reveals Mass Effect "4".

I just want DA:I get released. but because I don't care for it much.

It does anger me however, that Mass Effect is in the second row until DA:I is out, even tho' it is a resonable thing to do from marketing standpoint.

I hope BioWare won't delay any longer and give us at lease a teaser before 2015 (Christmas?).

Also, the thing that feels wierd is that BioWare already said on tweets, that the teaser for next Mass Effect is already finished - and that was months ago!

The way I see it is that DA:I gets released, then few weeks of cash-in, then sudden unexpected "ninja" Mass Effect reveal saying to wait for the teaser that will be released on a fixed date.

Sure thing is, I Won't be able to sleep from inpatience once the reveal teaser has a countdown....

Mass Effect "4" is basicly the only game im craving to play and will get CE of by a pre-order.

2:57 is my screen saver. My 7 year old sits there and tries to figure out who's who. I love it.

Interesting... Would you mind showing us the tweet? Becuase if this is true then they are just waiting for the right moment (short period time after DA: I) to reveal the game. and I think VGA/X 2014 (5 Dec) is the right place for that.

*Mass Effect 3 announcement was at VGA 2011.

True, they have said that the teaser was made months ago.  It was probably set to be shown after Inquisition was supposed to be released back in October, but since it got delayed in turn so did the new Mass Effect teaser more than likely.

My guess is by December we should definitely have more Mass Effct news.  Maybe nothing too huge, don't expect tons of game play, but news nonetheless.

I have more information about the game that I am putting into the Part 2 video.  I just didn't want to make that video 20 minutes long!  It should be done within the week.  Might cover a few things people haven't heard about yet! (:

Hope you all enjoyed it and maybe learned something new or gained some new perspectives.

To be honest, this forum would experience a total revival, if only BioWare would finally disclose just two things:

- what is the timeline of the game (when does the action take place).

- who is the protagonist and what is his goal or at least preliminary goal.

People would start to flock in again like mad and finally some interesting topics would appear with an actual constructive speculation... right now forum seems pretty dead compared to the times of ME3 initial release.

The timeline is interesting.  I think I have an idea of what the timeline is based off things Bioware have said in the past at conferences and Twitter.  Its actually one of the main things I am covering in the Part 2 video.  Of course, at this point most timeline and protagonist stuff is just speculation based off other facts.  The studio director Yanek Roy at Bioware Montreal said they were about halfway through the game's development phase about a half a year ago, however, so we are sure to have information shortly after Inquisition's release.  I'd bet a poptart on it.

One out of a TOASTER....

Would you care to quickly say what is your take on the next Mass Effect's storyline/timeline?

Bioware has stated in responses to questions about familiar characters making a reappearance with "its a high possibility."  That means that it must take place at some point during Shepard's timeline, or directly after, otherwise most of these characters would likely be dead either from old age or due to being killed doing whatever crazy stuff they end up doing in their post-Normandy days.  It at least narrows down the possible timeline a bit.

They can have only Liara and Wrex/Grunt reappear. Given the long lifespan of both the asari and krogan it can be set quite far away in the future

Meeting a seasoned warlord Grunt in far future would be a nice experience... as long as he ends up as our ally hah.

The amount of crew members who could live that long pale in comparison to the ratio of those who can't.  That would give Bioware a much more limited returning character pool.  While it is possible, it doesn't seem like the preferable choice.

What timeline are you most looking forward to seeing?

Far in the future, long enough to avoid seeing any characters from the trilogy. Some nods to the Reaper war in codex and various collectibles (useful, not for just being there like in Ubisoft games) from the war.

I could actually see this as being more plausible than some of the other theories.  I had a First Contact War Theory for awhile, but I somewhat debunked my own theory after thinking more on it after time.

Jokes were not funny.

Video too long.

The approx 1 minute worth of info was nice. Would have liked more substance than bad jokes.

Just critique, not personal!

Thank you!  I'll make sure the next videos contain more info and run at less time.  I also noticed the audio levels could have been adjusted a bit more to.  Was my first time making anything like that so I was learning as I was editing!  I just love Mass Effect and want to make a series so other fans can easily be able to learn about news or information regarding the next game.

However, those are NOT jokes.
1. Cerberus IS a Panda Bear
2. I DO like eating cake
3. Pinecones are Currency

I'm already working on the next video and I am making some changes in it according to feedback I've had.  The next one will contain the entirety of what we know so far about the next Mass Effect along with some theories based off actual evidence provided by Bioware.

Maybe they weren't jokes but people want info on the next ME game, not if you like cake or panda bears or whatever.

Also, that they would be releasing new info at Honorcon wasn't true as far as i know.

Yeah, it unfortunately didn't turn out to be anything like it was expected to be.  Two days, we will get something.  Likely small... but something.

Personally I favor Ark Theory, which is partly far future, but far future in this galaxy is my next bet.

I just don't think there will be that much connection to previous games and locations. I mean, I get the feelings that they're looking for a fresh slate.

After I think on that more and more, it seems like one of the more plausible outcomes, but at this point it is still up in the air.
Any opinions on possible it being a prequel?  I'd say the chances are small, but if it WAS a prequel, what scenario do you think it would most likely involve?

Not a war. Probably something on a much smaller scale, more personal. Like, say, a corprate spy betrayed by his employer and seeking revenge...
