You say that like all of the relationships we have now are healthy.
Well, I do think the unhealthy ones should be trimmed. Rivalmances, for instance, are mostly terrible (Isabela excepted).

I dunno, just kinda presume a fully evil person would be a sociopath or something

Well they're still there. You have the option not to play them and those that prefer them can do so.

But I don't want to add more. I also don't want to add more incentives to be evil.
It does, however, almost certainly preclude a healthy relationship.
One of the healthiest relationships I've seen in the sorts of fiction I enjoy involved a woman who is literally made of evil and a self-admitted villain. (They maintained their happiness together by means of sacrifices to the evil gods.)

Yes how dare people play differently. The very gameworld might explode. ![]()

Enabling destructive behavior isn't healthy in my opinion.

I thought the joy of being evil was all that was really necessary for this. But in truth, I think that having to drag evil characters along is character-breaking and obnoxious, at least when they're not tempered like most of Bioware's companions.

You're afraid kids will start making virgin sacrifices to spice up their love lives?

Then they can be optional (which preferably even the good ones are).So you can dump them and I can drag along whoever I want.
And besides plenty feel having to drag some of the noble characters along is character-breaking and obnoxious. Bench them and call it a day.

Not healthy in-universe.

Simply put, I would rather the devs spend time working on the kinds of characters I like having. Which means we're at cross-purposes and will likely remain so.

Fair enough.

I'm not asking for stupid evil mustache twirling brutes. Ruthless, intelligent competent and selfish yes. Stupid evil "Let me kill everything cause lol" no. I'm sure stupid evil and a romance wouldn't work I see little reason lawful/neutral evil like characters couldn't work in a romance. It'd probably be a lot less sappy and sweet (and thank ra for that) but it'd still have sweet moments. Even evil have loved ones after all.

Their relationship is actually surprisingly healthy, considering that one describes himself as "Lawful Evil" and the other is an incarnation of illicit lust who replies to her lover's shock at how many times she's had sex in his absence with "Well, I had to run some errands too."

I don't think "is" is the right word, given that the former is dead as dead can be.

Apologies.

It's probably unnecessary anyway.

I actually didn't know what you were talking about until your last post.

True.
Oh my gosh, I know who we need! Henry Higgins! He would be an incredible LI.

Pretty much what I meant by sociopath

You can be the bolded without being a sociopath.
Honestly Xil, for a person that wants to see quite a few things in the game that others do not, or do not care about, you are quite quick to say a solid ''no'' to the wishes of other people.
YES. I WANT AN EVIL LOVER.
This is something I'd like to see as well. TOR made it possible to romance the main villain in one of the class stories and it was by far my favorite romance in the game, even if it was an extremely messed up relationship. I also enjoyed Silk Fox in Jade Empire on the Closed Fist path (minus the lame brainwashing).
