What is that supposed to be? Any example situations?

It'd be cool for once if one of the "dark" characters was actually dark without a sappy backstory or a secretly kind heart. Can't they just be bad people ?

Morrigan was being stupid evil at redcliff as an example. The only thing abandoning redcliffe does is bolster the enemy forces while weakening the resources you have to capture the castle.

You know I'm to be perfectly honest here and just admit my problem isn't that don't want Bioware to have a LI that's evil in their games but with the players that want one so badly.

 

I totally behind player choice and I know that I shouldn't care what people across the globe do with their video game. The thing is through I just find it really off putting that some people are synced about wanting to date an evil character. And when I mean evil I don't mean Morrigan, Zervan, Loghain or even Shale, but someone like Mornith from ME. It makes me unconformable and kind of remains me of fan-girls who were in love with Chris Brown even after they found out that he was a domestic abuser.

 

I know that the two aren't the same situation, but I still feel creeped out all the same.

Just ignore the LI? I'm a bit creeped out by some Talimancers. I just avoid the romance and her thread for the most part. And we can play evil characters and romance LIs already.

 

As for Chris Brown. I'd imagine most of us are well aware of the differences between fictional romances and real life abusive relationships. I wouldn't want to be in a vast majority of BWs romances with the so called good characters. It'd be no different with a darker one.

That's not how it works at all. How a person treats other people is never an indication of how you will be treated.

An evil LI would most definitely cheat on you, and that's the least of your worries since otherwise good people do it too

That's not how it works at all. How a person treats other people is never an indication of how you will be treated.

It's a very good indication of what kind of person someone is beyond the facade that they're trying to impress you with. You've really never heard this advice? I guess it applies more to men

I will make a personal example. There are people in my life that I want to hug and people that I want to punch in the face. If I am rude to a random waiter that I don't know, it doesn't mean that I will act in any way similar towards people that I actually care about.

you are talking about evil relationships. EVIL, and you explictly stated and I quote "they don't care about other people." Abuse and Rape are two things which would occure in an evil relationship, because by their very defination they are not in a good or healthy relationship.
