@ Vect No, I see a poster that took the time to edit his post because he didn't want to waste time on you. You've been here for months. Your complaining has obviously done you no good, and it makes you look like a child. It also makes you look like you're throwing a temper tantrum in your posts as well.
Time to face the facts: The DA team doesn't care what you think. They don't care if you go, "Pre-Order Cancelled" or "OMG, I can't have more options." If anything, I've seen more posts from writers and devs that are either dismissing such ideas, if not mocking them outright.
Folks like you are a minority out there, and your measly $50-$120 is just drops in the bucket. Do you think that a few people that may think like you will mean anything to the millions of people that are going to buy this game? That might not give a crap if women get more options? That might not even give a flying toss if there is a romance they like at all?
EA doesn't care about what the people like you think. Otherwise, they'd have pulled s/s relationships out of the Sims and out of BioWare games. Instead, they do a lot of articles talking about how much they enjoy supporting the LGBT community. The Dragon Age team alone has not only showed that they think folks like you don't matter by adding s/s relationships and characters, but they've continually strived to expand that with characters such as Dorian, Maevaris, Sera, Zevran, the entire LI options of DA2, and Leliana. They've even been talking about writing an asexual romance for future DA games.
If Focus on the Family and other such groups aren't going to change EA/BioWare's mind, you're sure as Hades aren't going to either.
As for the forums, some of us are quietly laughing at you. I'm sorry, but you merit no sympathy from me. The DA team isn't going to cater to your wishes. Hell, they aren't catering to anyone. They want to make interesting games, ones that at least try to break the mold in terms of characters and story telling. That includes an entire swath of people that, up to this point, have had little representation. Or worse, been villainous more often than not.
Good luck to you. You're gonna need it.
