Only if there was good CC options for Qunaris I'd play Qunari first for sure but now they are in backseat waiting for hair-miracle..

Yep. If you play as an Elf, you have to have one of their tattoos.

Dwarf! Always loved dwarves and always feel they are given the least effort in any fantasy world. I always play them to give it a more fleshing out.

 

Edit: Of course another reason I love DA is they give so much flavor to the dwarves.

Each race has its "special" cases. Her physical deformities do not represent the majority. Elves are by nature beautiful, she on the other hand is nothing more then a mutation lol!!

Human. Mostly because back in the day when we were only going to be able to pick a human protagonist I did most of my planning for that, so my human is my best planned out character.

As vanilla as it may sound, i will also go for a human. After Da2 i am kinda addicted to human PC. But In Dao i played every race. I really liked elven mages, they were beautiful.

For me, my first playthrough will be a Female Qunari Mage. Second will probably be a Dwarf Warrior.

 

I was disappointed with the Archer abilities in DA2. So if Archer gets improved with more abilities I think my 3rd character will be a Dalish Elf Archer.

IMO archer was well done in DA2, you just needed to know how to spec. I got my standard attack to do between 1000 and 2000 points of damage every hit on nightmare. Plus the assassinate ability was godly, doing 10000 points of damage and that's without the passive ambush. DA2 aracher was supreme
