Bioware is dead, EA Satan Inc. killed them.

Why are you trying to spoil the game?

How is telling you that you cannot continue your romance, contrary to the developers lies, a spoiler? It is not, a spoiler gives away crucial plot details.

You still haven't given me a link where they promised us what you've said.

Look it up yourself. I don't have time to your immature skepticism.

All the whiny fanboys should probably get comfortable with this subject.

If its an issue before the game is even released officially, its likely to be one afterwards for sure.

Strap something on your sore butts, and expect Bioware to get criticised, just like with ME1. No game is perfect, and the people who buy these games decide its faults. Enough people dont like this aspect of ME2, you better believe its a fault.

If its one Bioware prepared for, and plan to make good on with ME3, hey presto, its all just hot air.

If its not, maybe.... shut up and take it?

Oh Lordy, not you again....

You have a very very small amount of interaction with the old LI, and none of it involves anything close to romance.

BioWare is a lying liar who lies.

Hey. Lets put this all in the title. That way people have to read it, and know beyond their control.

Instead of going something like "Old LI's (Spoilers)"

Thanks, moron.

I'm skeptic because I've been following this game for a very long time, and I've watched and read as much about it as possible (articles, interviews, videos, whatever).  I don't recall Bioware stating what you say they have.

Bioware remains innocent until proven otherwise.

Spoilers also apply to aspects of a game, not just the crucial plot details.

Bioware can't please everyone, all the time. They do a sterling job though. Besides, this is all sort of spoilers...

Fair enough, but do be warned that the forum users, those who actually talk on the forums, are a very small minority of actuall gameplayers. My point is, is that they told us this already. I mean, did you really expect you were going to bang Miranda or SuZe and the same time as you doing it with Ashley or Liara? Fat chance.

And don't get me wrong; some of the decisions Bioware makes drive up the wall. But over all, they come through.

Valid criticism isn't trolling but posting unnecessary pictures with nothing more than themselves might be considered as such. BioWare has shown how incredibly lazy they are with the character-customisation, generic and bland soundtrack, and basically removing all the RPG elements from their game in-favour of an emphasis on action. That sounds like Cruise Control to me.

They said that if you romance new characters in ME2 then your old ME1 LI's will confront you in ME3.

They never said anything about continuing to romance your ME1 LI's in ME2.

personally first play through i let my Love interest die for the sake fo the mission, (ME 1) secondly do you raelly need to continue with the old ones, Ashley was pretty boring as was Carth and Liara was the only decent one that was achievable for all characters but she's gonna out live you by roughly 850 years if not more so what's the point?

on top of that Shep Fem and Male has other issues to attend to and could've simply been releaving stress or trying to find love before he/she dies in a suicide mission. Lical things come into play besides how do you know they didn't keep at it during those 2 years?

People were complaining a few days about what happened to Liara on gamefaqs. The discontent is *not* limited to this forum. And this has happened before the release of the game.

We were told that they'd have small roles. Over time, I grew to accept this. But what I cannot accept, however, is a small, very unsatisfactory scene.

There are going to be some very upset people.

Have to say I'm really disappointed. But man, the immaturity from some posters in this thread is embarrassing. It seriously feels like you're reading posts from a 13 year old or something.

I also love how if something in the game doesn't matter or affect a person, they just say "oh well tough luck" or "get over it" or "well, it doesn't affect me, so I don't care", etc. I bet if there was something that disappointed them, they wouldn't like people saying that to them would they?

Oh the irony.

I was referring to all forums, actually. And, your definition of unsatisfactory is going to be different than mine. Far as I'm concerned, just knowing that they're safe and sound is good enough for me, and anything else is just icing on the cake.

Further, there are going to be upset people no matter what you do. If we contiuned the same LI's in ME2, people would be complaining about no new ones.

And last but not least, this information (for me anyway) is second-hand, and therefore suspect. I will wait until I have the game in my hands to render judgement.

Good thing I don't have an LI for ME1 for my first ME2 playthrough. I was getting close to Kaiden, then he went boom. Although, Garrus and I had some tension ;)

I told "tough bananas" to those who created expectations on their own accord, and then pointed fingers of deception at Bioware for "lying" to them when they did no such thing.
