But that doesn't mean I didn't want MORE. Shep gets to bone practically everyone on the ship except her ME1 LI.
And any female. Which sucks...
That reply would have been much better if you changed the first period into a comma and decapitalized the W. (Slightly bad grammar, but much more true to life.)

Im still hopeful that once Shep is done and has completed the suicide mission, some of the post game stuff will be reconnecting some more with former LI from ME1. Still, if you think about it, I imagine some Sheps wouldnt want to put loved ones in harm's way if its not needed. Although I would still love to take them on the Normandy at some point and show all the upgrades! Look! We have showers now!
Since everyone is abit gloomy, a clip from an old favorite show of mine:
That's really stupid from a story perspective. Why would Shepard have reservations about having their old flame go on this mission with them when they have proven they're capability in the first game? They'd be just as lethal as anyone you could recruit in this game.

Trust me, they did a good job at tying Ash/Kaidan/Liara's hands. They will not be going on the suicide mission.

And you know what? I think that's a great idea. My main fem!Shep will have already made up her mind about not wanting them to come along. Hell, if I knew I was probably gonna die on some crazy battle against some enemy no one had ever fought before, there'd be no way in hell I would be taking my girlfriend along.
Saying, "Hey, I'm taking you along and you're probably gonna die, but since I"m the commander, I bet I'll have more a chance at living" to your significant other doesn't exactly inspire feelings of romance...

Ya, the truth hurts baby. Just plug your ears and keep telling yourself ME2 is perfect if you dont like it.
Oh yeah, cause who can deny the great Dinkamus_Littlelog, prophet of truth, who no one can contradict cause he is right in everything he says, even the stuff that contradicts itself. Who can accuse people of baseless assumptions cause nothing he says is wrong cause he says so. Who believes he is the only one who is claiming ME2 will not be perfect, fails to read other's posts cause in all his all powerful magic, why should he?
I could go on but I'm done.

I'd be fine with that. I honestly would.
But you'll have to see *how* they did it. Maybe you'll approve, maybe you won't. I sure dont

Although from Shep's perspective it hasn't really been two years (I'm assuming Shep was out cold for the majoity of the two years) so I could understand his/her feelings that still remain.

At this point I just want to make my voice heard as someone who wants the ME1 LIs back as squadmates in the third game. I used to rarely post in the ME forums, but now that I see that the devs listened to the people who had issues, while ignoring the people who were previously happy, I'm going to be more proactive about what I want to see in ME3.

Well it kinda makes sense storywise, Shepards been "dead" for two years. Could you expect Shepard's former lovers to be faithful this entire time, believing Shepard to be dead? I think not.

I wont go into details, but those commonly held beliefs are flat out wrong.
Its the opposite, one of them stills cares about you, and would still join you, but just cant.
And Bioware decided that was enough to give them very little else as a part of the story.
Theyve said its for ME3, but thats years away, and for all we know could just be for another equally small role.

I saw some streams. I thought they actually did a good job of leaving things open for ME3. I mean, you can't expect for them to just want to blindly rush back into things after getting their hearts ripped open when Shep "dies."

Your "girlfriend" is one of the better warriors in the galaxy, or at least have proven themselves very capable. The galaxy is at stake and the suicide mission is a integral one, romantic links shouldn't get in the way of that.
