I'm not getting into a political and definition debate with you, all I'm saying is a few in here are violating site rules and should tone it down or the wrath of the mods will come down hard.

Cameron seems like such a nice guy, it's a shame he had to deal with that. Lets not act like everyone from Russia is the same though or that there aren't any homophobic asshats in western countries. Huge sections of the US are pretty much as homophobic as Russia for example, if not worse.

Maybe I've been desensitized to this kinda stuff after working at a gas station for so long, but meh.  Whatever.  Talking about it only draws attention to it.  It might be wrong to close my eyes and pretend it doesn't exist, but you can't cure the stupid in the world by complaining about it.

I haven't seen any phobia on the forums.  phobia means a fear of... No one is afraid of Russians.

Russophobia is more than just a fear of Russians, is is an Anti-Russian sentiment.

I would like to remind everyone we came to this thread to discuss how TERRIBLE this interview was. NOT nationality/racism or what ever else you feel getting heated about. You can never win an argument on the internet. If someone said something you don't agree with, thats fine. But please, I'd like this thread to still be here in the morning when I wake up, thank you.

Oh yes, lets all show how open-minded and accepting we are by just bashing Russians in general.

We get it, not all Russians are raging psychopaths. But you can't blame anyone for having negative feelings on Russia in general. There have been a lot of disturbing stories coming out of Russia... People have a right to be angry.

Yes, yes I can. Since it's a problem with 1) the government 2) people who support it 3) homophobes. You think all Russians support that ****? Lemme just go tell ***** Riot. Generalizations and prejudice are never justified.

That doesn't really matter in the context of the thread.  I didn't look at the video and think, "Gee, these guys are proving a stereotype.".  I saw a couple of jackasses with accents different from my own asking a AAA developer stupid and pointless questions.  And checked their phone during the time.

Don't matter to me what country they are from.  Being a douchebag and unprofessional is still being a douchebag.  They could be from my own home town and I'd still feel the same way.

Anger is an emotional response, it is illogical to be angry at an entire nationality for one person's beliefs.

Equal opportunity misanthropy is indeed preferable to selective misanthropy.

Yeah personally, I'm reserving my loathing for this one particular interviewer.  I don't think it's fair to colour millions with his viewpoints and comments.  I take my dislikes purely on a case by case basis.   ;)

That just sounds like mob mentality to me. Yes I hate the laws in Russia but a lot of other countries have laws like that and worse. Plenty of western countries have huge communities of people who would like to see laws like that implemented. In my country (the UK)  gay marriage was recently legalised but there were a lot of people against it and it took a long time to get it through.

Yes lets stick to the facts, this guy is a total douche bag because of a number of things that happen in the interview and Cameron did a remarkable job in staying professional.

No matter were he is from. the interviews attitude is what made him a douche

He handled that well. I felt really bad for him when the phone went off, you could see the "I am so done" look on his face.

I don't think anyone wants to have their entire nation by the actions of their leaders.   Nor have several countries thrown under a stifling and inaccurate blanket.  Try to be respectful and not go there, okay?

It reminds me of the David Bowie song, "I'm Afraid of Americans."
