qOJOp, thanks a lot for those links.  I didn't even know about that; but it sounds great.  I have Morrowind and never played it.  But I've always heard it was the best of the 3 Elder Scrolls games, but too slow to play now.  I've played Oblivion and Skyrim and still am playing Skyrim all the time.  This sounds really cool.

Morrowind is a far less forgiving game than Oblivion & Skyrim.  I very much recommend it with the warning of saving often and in different slots.  Kill the wrong person and you can break quests and not even know it for hours.  They just don't make games like that anymore.  However you are probably not like me and have tendencies to go all Anakin Skywalker on a village. Ah good times.

Thank you both, Kenshen and Rossi.  I have a good friend who has told me so much about Morrowind, and he told me the same thing about saving often.  It is his favorite of the three too.  I have had the game for a long time but never played it.  I played Oblivion quite a bit and am playing Skyrim right now.  I am definitely going to want to try this Skywind game.  But right now I am getting myself psyched up for DAI, so I might have to wait awhile...

 

Oh, and yeah, it is fine to call me granny.  I just had my 69th birthday, and I have 5 grandchildren...  And thank you for the hug.  Can never get too many hugs.

Was fighting the high dragon in the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest, all my party members were dead and I had like 10 hp left when I managed to kill the dragon. Then my burns killed me as my companions got up. lol.

I remind that Lelianna was singing with fury on her face and my warden had his "one size fits all" expression while she was singing, trying to roleplay in my character i felt like he was intimidated as hell by the piercing mad eyes of Lelianna... then tried to fix it with his coercion but had no time for that... that indeed was an epic moment: Brute rogue, absolutely no respect for human lives unless they were mages, beating dragons, disappointed with the Dalish and supporting werewolves and now intimidated by the girl he just called coward for hidding in the chantry two nights ago... PRICELESS.

 

 

Yeah, agree. That is one of my epic moment also.

 

 

Another good memory, True Love always wins in fantasy settings...

 

Also the lanstmeet was played for laughs: "we are discussing YOUR crimes (not mines)" "like selling elves..." and so on, it was obvious that Khaarlus was more willing to solve the trouble with his twin axes than with the votes of nobles, Anora siding witth her father (again...) just brought a cruel defeat for new king Alistair "this doesn't looks good"... So the axes were unsheated. The dog was named champion for King Alistair but the stupid shemlen said he was not elegible, so King Alistair had to fight for himself Alistair beheading Loghain and my warden saying "I think that Alistair and Anora must marry"... too bad i did a poor selection in reboot version and had to retcon it because stupid anora supported me and i won the assembly by one vote (the people's one and mr "explain yourself Loghain") warden fought and killed Loghain instead of Alistair, and Anora wanted him to die, so instead forced Alistair kings crown.

 

I have very good memories for universe one (killing humans is great!) but other universes are not bad...

Speaking of the landsmeet...You're are not going to believe what happened to me at the landsmeet.

When duelling with the big Mac...his armors keep changing. I only managed to quickly grab a few of the changes.

Only happened once. But it was so hilarious. See for yourself....

Oh, and another one - when I first played DAO, still without any mods (seems unbelievable now xD), Alistair got somehow confused, and confessed love to my male Surana. Nobody wanted to believe me, said it was impossible. But, two weeks back the save files of my canon Surana (the purple haired guy in my avatar), who I want to import to the Keep, got corrupted, and the game itself started to crash, I had texture problems and bugs. So I reinstalled it, drastically reduced the number of mods, and started to play with my Surana again. I DO NOT have any mods that make it possible to romance Alistair with guys. And... it happened again!

 

Funny thing is, it happened a moment after my Surana had his first kiss with Zev - with Alistair standing two steps away! And, another funny thing - when Airam told Alistair he wasn't interested, Alistair still gave him +1 approval... but, Zevran gave him +2!

 

This time, I took the screenshots, but if I want the fonts to be readable, the size of the screenshot is huge. So I turned it into a gif with slightly edited text (but I can still provide the screenshots with the text, if someone wouldn't believe me )

That is exactly where my username came from but had to spell it with an E instead of an I because someone already had it on the old forum and I have never bothered to change it.  Tis my favorite anime as well.  As for Skywind I had not heard of it before but I will be checking it out.
