Yeah, it's already been said why this wouldn't work. Same-sex romances, alien romances, Femshep's only viable option would be Kaidan, who can be dead, Femshep was never pregnant and no, her having a child before ME1 that just never gets mentioned would just be beyond terribad. It could be an Asari child, if you romanced Liara, which many people didn't, and I believe the new protagonist is confirmed as human anyway so actually, no - it's not an Asari child.
All that aside the idea is just too cheesy. Tbh I personally want a fresh start and that means moving as far from Shepard as possible, and I can't speak for the devs but I certainly get the impression that's their goal as well. Let dead Spectres lie as they say (nobody says that). Plus, it would rely on ME:Next being set only decades after ME3, which I don't see as possible unless they canonise an ending, which is entirely plausible of course, but it's more likely they'll be as vague as possible in that respect. But distant future seems more likely imo. Since you mentioned cloning, I suppose I wouldn't mind a Big Boss / Solid Snake scenario where they manufactured a soldier based off Shepard, but that's as far as I'd like it to go. Even then it kind of perpetuates the Messiah worship of Shepard, which I've had enough of, myself.
