So that's what you divined from my statement? How is that even remotely relevant?

I quoted Rawgrim, not you. I was talking to him.

Leliana can still stand by her Warden forever. In this case, **** really hit the fan, and she is out doing her job. The Warden might be doing the very same thing in a different part of the world during Inquisition. Since the warden will be mentioned in the game, I am pretty sure we will get an explanation. I suspect the Warden is tied to whatever Stroud was upto in DA2, actually. He was very hush hush about the whole thing.

Stroud will appear in the game in a company of Hawke

Warden has a history of saving the world and getting involved in all kind of epic **** and disasters

It's hard to believe they would not be involved in saving the world from falling apart

Especially if you know the spoilers...

Saving the world from the Blight, yes. Not from Templar vs Mage wars, civil war in Orlais, and other things. I am very sure the Wardens would lend aid against the Fade issue, of course, wich might be what they are doing too. Unless distracted by some darkspawn issue at the same time. Stroud mentioned something being up with that, in DA2.

That's not what i was talking about however. I was talking about the warden dying/succumbing to the calling

The warden was a recruit, remember? Both him and Alistair had very very little knowledge about being a Warden at all.

The politics in the game, was 90 percent about the blight. The King of Ferelden bit happened because Alistair's bloodline. Simple as that. That whole case was an extreme and unusual scenario.

leliana is a bard though.. She is the type to do her job for sure- i agree... but meanwhile while she does her job, she'd send out agents to go find her lost love, look for clues, ask for your help, etc. After all, the warden could be a huge help in the inquisition.

refresh me on stroud? been a while.. I've been meaning to play thw DA's before the 18th but I work too much.

Cool. Could be a warden Bethany might show up too then. The Keep actually asked questions about Bethany, if I remember correctly.

The Templar vs Mage conflict will be solved very early according to the inteviews. Not to mention the game isn't about this conflict, it's about the Demon raining from skies

I sure hope we'll be told that our Wardens are helping to resolve this conflict off-screen. That would be... well, at least more or less satisfying knowing they're alive and well

That is an assumption on how Leliana, now, would react. We dont know what has happened to a living Warden up to this point. There could have been a lot of stuff that has happened since then.

Could very well be she has people looking for the warden. Depends, though. If the Chantry would let her use its resources for personal issues. Given what is going on, this might not be the case.

Stroud shows up near the end of DA2. If you ask him what he is doing in Kirkwall, he mentions Warden business etc. I don't remember the details clearly. But he is there for a very good reason, it seems.

Depends a bit on where it is raining demons, I guess. If it is all over the world, the warden might be busy helping out where he is at that time. The Inquisitor seems to be in the right area for stopping it, but I doubt the whole word knows about that.

I am sure we will get some temporary satisfaction about the wardens whereabouts, and I am equally sure everyone will want to see the warden back even more in the next game.

Yes. And Bethany joins you for the final fight, after that meeting.

Very true. She might even have dumped the warden too. It has been more than 10 years since DA:O after all. and Leliana is her own person. If she dumped my warden during that time, I would be perfectly fine with it.

Nonono

The uproar would be terrible and for a good reason

Breaking up our PCs with their LIs is just big no

I wish they'd just end it.

K, the warden fell ill and left with morrigan's child to spend his remaining years teaching him. closure. fine. (this isn't the ending I'd use, it's just an example of closure off the op of my head)

K, the warden left the wardens in order to hunt down the last old god. He will retire after this task is done. closure. fine

See where I'm going with these lackluster examples?

Not to sound like a psycho but I still blame the warden for not being able to romance Leliana. So hoping we can dig up the dead warden and desecrate the corpse :P

I wish I could be more... descriptive... but then I could risk a 24 hour ban :(

Keep in mind that Bioware has also said that the warden's story is over. Done deal.

Or maybe Morrigan has sacrificed the warden to gain power. Killed him inside that Eluvian.

The Warden went to have a pint with Revan at a secret Bioware facility in northern Canada.

They ended up in bed together. A new IP was born. Coming to a Console near you 2016.

I want him/her to be mentionned through NPCs, notes and letters only. If he/she comes back, I want to be able to control his thoughts and actions like Hawke and the Inquisitor.

I loved the Warden and Hawke both. But no Leliana romance due to some possible Leliana romance with the warden made me despise the warden.

The Exile was involved too. He made the sextape that got cut from the console game, due to the ratings.

I completely disagree. This "possession" like mentality people have of characters in Dragon Age, should not be respected like that. They are their own characters and the writers should be able to do as they see fit, imo. This idea that the LI's are in control of the players headcanon, to me, is a horrible president to respect. I hope Bioware writers never take this mentality to heart. The characters they create need to be their own people and not be tied at the hip to our characters decisions, it hurts the setting imo, very much.

Giving us an opportunity to create relationships and then destroy them like that is a big middle finger

It just says "Your choices do no matter"

They might as well force everyone to make an OGB or kill their Warden for lolz sake

These characters are independant but they're tied to our PCs, our experience. Our involvement matters
