Don't even understand the hate. Eventually I will do all that there is to do in DA:I and will move on, just like all the games of old. Many of us slow jerk to Dragon Age: Origins but guess what, here we are about to play DA:I.

 

The Witcher 3 looks amazing, and by that I don't mean graphics. The story was good in one, but I hated the gameplay so damn much. The Witcher 2 was a whole lot better, especially after some tweaks to combat via mods after enhanced edition, and three looks like culmination of all lessons learned from previous games. I'd play it just for the story alone anyway, though.

 

So my point is... why can't we play both? Don't understand the whole DA:I vs Witcher 3 thing.

 

Dont get me wrong mate. As i said, im no witcher hater. I dont exactly love it, but i certainly dont hate it and will probably give witcher 3 a shot. But since the beggining of the year in a big percentage of youtube Inquisition videos there's always someone saying "Oh the witcher is so gonna kick Inquisition in the nuts, dragon age sucks!!" I agree with you, everyone can play both and enjoy both, but the majority of witcher fans for some reason have a grudge against dragon age dunno why.... And i just think that after the release of Inquisition we will see a lot less people taking that position - hence the "bite their tongues". I was in no way trying to incite hate against the witcher.

Probably because it looks like DudeInquisitor is about to get shot down by Sera in that vid. So, yeah, your gender will definitely affect that romance. lol.

See, I think it's nice.

 

Our first glimpse of the Skyhold outfit was pretty blurry and horrific, at best it looked like a gambeson or some sort of arming coat, but now that we see some nice high res images it's not so bad.

 

There's clearly some finery worked into it (the clasps and stitching and so on), so it looks more like a uniform than anything else. It is rather drab and beige is hardly vibrant, but it is still far from "hideous".

To be honest, I doubt it's the majority. More likely it is a tiny minority of trolls. Why go in another game's forum like that, if you're not a troll?

 

The vast majority of players probably are fine with both games, but sadly there's this really vocal minority of people who just cannot abide two RPGs coexisting... even though they almost certainly will have both games on their HDs.

No mystery there. Dragon Age 2 drove a lot of people into headlong into the arms of the Witcher 2, and CDPR didn't stumble there.

 

Also for what it's worth, CDPR's working off a far more stable foundation coming off TW2, than Bioware is coming off DA2, ME3. One developer has trust, the other one needs to regain it in the eyes of some of the lapsed or more skeptical fans.

Yeah, the hate goes both ways. In my experience "Ze Witcher iz so filthy and miiizogyniistic!" comes up a lot. Kind of stupid really. I mean everybody has their favorites (DC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Marvel), but it doesn't mean we can't like aspects of both.

If you look at the video at one moment you see the woman you dance with , and she's beside the woman who's probably Celene , a blonde woman with a blue dress and some kind of golden stuff on her back.

It matches the concept art.

 

So the Inquisitor isn't dancing with the Empress , unless the Empress is wearing a disguise.

Best part for me was the end.  You are shown dancing with empress/empress's mandmaid, then the narrator states that gaining an ally will also gain an enemy.  You then are shown someone pointing a bow at the inquisitor.  Hmmmm.  So an archer that is against the empress.......
