If you can access the Keep fine, why would there need to be an app for it? o.O it's not like you'll be able to use it without the internet.

There is no app for the Keep, there is going to be a Dragon Age HQ app for multiplayer which I think is where some of the confusion is.

HTML5 removes the need for an app.

Try the Keep from an iPad, my friend.

I actually think an app is a good idea. I am not the only one that plays on my ipad/phone. My niece and nephews play on them as well. Not to mention (not that it's a big deal) that I have to go into my web browser and look it up. If there was an app it would always be right there. Like I said it's not a big deal but for ease of access it would be nice.

If all you need is the convenience of opening the Keep easily, you've always been able to make shortcuts to websites on desktop/app page of PC/phones/tablets.

Let me be more clear: right now, the keep doesn't work on Safari for mobile or Opera Mini. Chrome for mobile Android is officially not supported. I haven't tested other browsers, but that's the only reason why an app could be cool. Not prejudicial. Not vitally important. But cool. I'm sure lots of people would play with it and watch the SIS on the bus.

Hmm I do need to do that.
An app is harder to update and then you need to make it work on all versions (for android) and then you have to decide what phones not to support.
What do you mean chrome for mobile android is not supported? Odd that safari doesnt support it since jobs wanted to kill off what html5 replaces

Sorry if this has been posted already. I am posting from my phone and its hard to search. I used keep last night on iPad and it worked fine for the most part but an app would be nice as well.
Really? Can you please give some specs such as iPad model, OS version and browser in use? I get a black screen, and I already reported this, but maybe if you say it works...
Thanks.

If you log in from a mobile chrome, you get a first page that literally says "You're using a browser we don't support on the Dragon Age Keep". Then you can ignore it and try to access it anyway; the pages are a little messed up, the SIS doesn't play and you have troubles panning through the tapestry.
Regarding safari, I see a couple of people reporting that they saw it working, so maybe it's me (old iPad and OS still not updated to 8.1).
Bottom line is, again, an App is not important. Still, I would gladly play with it.

Wow I can't even remember which iPad version this is it's like 2 years old came out right when the retina display iPad came out. I use safari. Only issue I have is having to make the accept changes button fit on screen. This could be remedied by running full screen.
Edit could not get safari to run full screen, can't figure out how to post pics here either as I'm new to these forums.

I guess you mean chrome on ios.
An app would be nice, but there's no guarantee it would look any better

Was it announced that there would be an app for the skyhold war table? Where?

It works for me on an iPad 2, latest edition of Safari and OS (I think that OS release is buggy, FWIW; now that I've updated my WiFi drops a lot.). It does have the formatting problems I mentioned above.

No, I meant chrome on Android. I use chrome everywhere but on iOS: I'm not completely suicidal. ![]()

I've had no trouble with Chrome it never says it's not optimised for it either.

Mine goes a little big like that, with a Chrome 33.0.1750.517 (yeah, I know, superseded) on a Samsung with Android 4.4.2.
