I figured this might be a fun little forum game as we wait each dreaded minute and hour before Inquisition is finally ours! This is not another 'who is your Inquisitor' or 'what race/gender/class' will you play thread. Rather, this is the Randomquisition. A virtual die, in fact, will determine who the Herald of Andraste is. Your job is to come up with an Inquisitor using what's given, including appearance, motivations, LI pairing, friendships and rivalries, anything you can think of.

Gender:

1, 3, 5- Male

2, 4, 6- Female

 

Race:

1- Human

2- Elf

3- Dwarf

4- Qunari

5, 6- Reroll and subtract the second number from 5 or 6 (5-2 = 3). Your difference will determine the race. If the number is 0, reroll a third time. Whatever that number you get will be your race (if its 1-4). If its 5 or 6 reroll until you get a number between 1 and 4.

 

Class:

1 and 6- Warrior

2 and 5- Rogue

3 and 4- Mage

(if you're a dwarf, re-roll until you get 1, 2, 5 or 6. That determines your class).

 

Fighting Style (only for Warriors and Rogues):

1, 3, 5- Weapon and Shield (warrior)/Dual Dagger (rogue)

2, 4, 6- Two Hand (warrior)/Archery (rogue)

 

Specialization:

1 and 4- Champion (warrior)/Artificer (rogue)/Knight Enchanter (mage)

2 and 6- Templar (warrior)/Assassin (rogue)/Necromancer (mage)

3 and 5- Reaver (warrior)/Tempest (rogue)/Rift Mage (mage)

I am a lady (4) elf (2) warrior (6) who uses weapon and shield (3) with a Champion specialization (1). She sounds like a sort of classical lawful good character, and a tough sort of woman, being a Dalish warrior. I think her LI would be Solas or Sera, as I plan to romance each of them with elves, but her personality goes with Solas better. She would likely get along with both Cassandra and Blackwall very well.

My Inquisitor is a Female Elf Warrior (Two-Handed), with the Champion specialization. I imagine she's a tough lady, with long black hair and blue eyes. I think I'd play her as someone distrustful of shemlen and non-Dalish, but also fair and open-minded. She'd probably come down more on the mages at first, because that would be against the Templars, formerly an arm of the Chantry. She would likely see being the Inquisitor as an opportunity to do something meaningful not just for the Dalish but for all of Thedas.

 

LI: Given what I know of the others, possibly Sera or Blackwall.

 

Friendships with: Cassandra, Varric, Sera, Blackwall, Solas

 

Rivalries with: Iron Bull, Dorian, Vivienne, Cole

Got a Male Dwarf Rogue Archer Tempest myself

 

I can picture him being a crazy, self-titled dwarven Robin Hood who pals around with the likes of Sera, Varric and Iron Bull. Tends to make extremely rash decisions and irritate 'lawful' characters such as Vivienne and Cassandra. Definitely irritates the tar out of Cassandra with his wisecracks. I don't know if he'd have a romance, but I can definitely see him flirting with the likes of Dagna and Scout Harding when he gets the opportunity.

Haha I actually couldnt resist trying to find out.

5 options each with 3 outcomes. That makes 1/3 x 5 = 5/30 = 5 out of 30 in percentage = 16%... cant be that high can it?

Yea i've been going back and forth on the idea that i should start human to get a feel for the game since i usually start another character soon after my intial playthrough of games that allow customization but this just crushed that idea lol, im going in straight away with my Qunari,

I am leaning towards Cassandra as the first LI, but I think it will be an in-game decision based on how things unfold.  Josephine is certainly intriguing.

Well my intended first play through was a male Dalish Rift Mage, however the dice say:

Thats good, since i had planned pro-mage play and very balanced play.

I had not templarish plan and i thought about it. Thats also nice twist to have templarish character coming from Dalish elves. 

I think his sure choice would be Cassandra (also good thing, i had not character who would go for Cass), as for other characters he would go well with characters which are bit ignored by my other plans ,  and Cass + Varric or probably Vivienne/Sera
