So just a quick question does anyone know if there will be any matchmaking in this game? Cause this is pretty much the only thing that could make me not playing the MP, since I am bad at talking to people  :(  (never ever been good at it)

thx in advance

I don't see why they wouldn't have matchmaking.

If you don't like using it, you could always try forming premade groups with friends or people from BSN.

At the end of the day though it's still multi-player. You're going to have to play with other people unless you're extremely good at soloing, assuming that it's even possible.

You don't have to communicate at all if you don't want to.  Most ME3 mp games never have a word spoken.

I was told you can solo, join randon people, and set up parties. But I forgot to ask about how detailed you can get joining random people. I am also very curious about this too since all my friends left me for next gen.

Soloing sounds interesting but far to tedious to do alone so I really hope that you can join randome people then (will take awhile if it is not automatic). And it sucks that your friends left like that, good luck and happy gaming =) And thx for the reply

Soloing wont be as tedious as you think it will be. It most likely will be less tedious since you can engage and advance when you want to, instead of waiting or rushing with a team. If you haven't played ME3 multiplayer it is very similar to that in that failing is not really failing. You get gold or and chests and cards??(not sure what they were, maybe achievdments), but after my session, We made it to the final boss and area, there was almost a minute of just collecting and counting xp and loot from the match. This was with me failing and the producer mashing the A and next button so I couldn't see what I got. Hahah.

TL:DR
Soloing or Partying, be prepared to not make it to the end and not beat the final boss for awhile but you will get there!

You absolutely will have the ability to matchmake into an already existing lobby. In a very similar style to ME3, you can either restrict the matchmaking to your preferences, or let the game randomly choose it for you. The game will then attempt to find the best match for your desires.

Thank you so much for that! This made my day. Are there any specifics to preferences we choose? Is it just difficulty and level?

But will the matchmaking take the classes into consideration? It might have mattered much in ME3, but it seems like it will mattr a lot in DA:I.

Do you happen to know how the random matchmaker will handle choosing difficulty levels for you?

In Mass Effect 3 as time went on it wasn't uncommon for a brand new player to get tossed into a Gold or Platinum match that they really were not ready for which resulted in them just getting stomped by the AI.

Will we have a ping indicator?

So two things:

- Don't just 'Quick Match' as you can be matched in harder difficulties that your character is too low for. Better to search for or host 'by difficulty'.

- Soloing in DAMP wont be as profitable as in ME3 MP since the Treasure Rooms are class dependent on unlocking.

I´ll try the solo fight when I can to test it out before going with other people (I just do not want to embarrass myself)

I completely forgot I made this thread until just now  :P
